Another sub par app for an expensive purchase.
WHY are the apps for these “smart devices” always so lazy and poorly made. Not to mention annoying to use. This app logs you out CONSTANTLY and makes you log back in again for some reason. The app is designed in a way that makes it frustrating intentionally if you dont want to pay to be in their cloud service. I feel apple needs to implement a system where you are allowed to simulate devices in these apps so you can guage of using the app is going to be a nightmare or not. Then I wouldn’t have bought aquara devices and chosen something better suited to local home network usage with sufficient app support.

The Worst App
I bought into this app and company and purchase well over $2000 worth of hardware only to have it be buggy and shutting down constantly? The service is absolutely terrible from Aqara, you have to submit a ticket and the responses are rarely helpful.

Crashes when adding new lock
The app keeps crashing when I try to add my new lock.
Mostly good with one major issue.
Home live view randomly stops updating and stays on last frame for one or more cameras at once until I restart it. Happens on multiple iPads so not just me. Please fix.
Cannot keep logged in on more than 1 iPhone
Logging in on one iPhone automatically kicks me off on another, super annoying.

Not a fun experience. Doesnt detect existing accessories. Lots of network errors. Pushing ai bs on us. Not good.

Questionable product
Out of four sensors one did nothing at all. I threw it away bought another one. Amazingly that one doesn’t connect either. Obviously I won’t be buying anymore Aquara products.

This is one of the worst device I have ever used.
I never get a notification when a package is left or if someone is at the door.
Oh don’t talk about trying to access the live video while being out of the house. It doesn’t load says failed to load.

I wanted a 24hr camera (and app), not a part time one.
I won’t be buying a Aqara product again. The doorbell and app are rather too partial to ‘Network Errors’ for my liking — which is a brilliant name for an error considering everything else on that network is working perfectly.
2 stars — because it’s a good product when it works. It just always likes to discover a Network Error whenever I need it the most.

The apple home is now completely blurry and constantly stops and starts, nothing is getting recorded since the update
Latest version won’t open. Loads most of the way then crashes
Usually reliable app that works well, but, since the latest update, it won’t fully open.
Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Latest version broke
Last update (4d ago) broke the app completely. Can’t even open app. It just crashes.

App used to be great…now can’t even launch app before it crashes. Aqara you need to fix this ASAP
