Misleading, nothing over the free apple home version
Tried the free trial, took money immediately and then… its rubbish. E.g. For homekit power extensions you cannot see the individual sockets, its juts all in or all off.

Can’t exit without starting a subscription
Sometimes you find an app that is uniquely annoying. Opaque pricing requires you to install the app to find out how much it costs. And then the developer blocks quitting the app until you agree to a 7 day trial. Had to kill -9 the thing to get it to close so it could be uninstalled.
Expand Apple Home’s Capabilities
This app is a great extension of Apple Home’s capabilities. It has allowed me to create more complex Automations with multiple conditions not possible just using the Apple Home app. The backup feature is also nice to have, especially if you have spent a lot of time customizing your setup. The recent addition of Workflows really ups the capabilities even further. I use an old iPad to run Workflows I have created using this app. What I like about the Workflows is that they run on the dedicated iPad, taking some load off of the Apple Home hub. The workflows allow If/then/else conditions, loops, and even more capabilities. All of these additional capabilities would not be valuable if the Workflows didn’t run reliably. But they do run reliably on my dedicated iPad! I have been using this app for years now and highly recommend it. It is the next logical step forward from the Apple Home app as your home’s setup expands. It doesn’t replace the Apple Home app, it complements it.

I like many brought lifetime licence and now new features no access! Feel ripped off if honest and like others, I’d pay a little to bump up lifetime licence but no option! Prefer Apple Home visuals now and have dumped this app…..shame …. Greed is short term guys.
This App is MUST HAVE for Apple Home Users
Almost everything that Apple left out is in Controller for HomeKit. This is a serious app that is very easy to use along sideApple Home. Track down issues, logs, WAY, WAY better automation control in Workflows, in app states, great support … the list goes on. No Apple Home user should go without this app. P.S. not to be stereotypical about our Controller for HomeKit developers, but this app drips with solid German engineering.
