Inaccurate Maps and Poor Design Hurt Drivers
The Apple Express application needs serious improvement. The map system is the biggest issue. Around 70 to 80 percent of the mapping and routing is inaccurate. Even houses on the same street appear in random sequence numbers. If a driver follows the app’s sequence, the route can take double or even triple the normal time. It wastes time, increases fuel costs, and makes the job far harder than it needs to be. The developer must fix the routing logic, and the company needs to invest in proper optimization instead of leaving drivers to struggle.
The photo-proof feature is also poorly designed. For every delivery, the app forces you to take three photos, and after each photo you must press “Proceed” or “Retake.” That means six taps for every single stop. It slows down productivity and creates unnecessary delays for no real benefit.
On top of that, the company’s IT department doesn’t seem to care about how these issues affect drivers. They push updates without understanding real-world delivery needs, and the developers either don’t know how to fix the problems or the company simply doesn’t want to invest in improving the system. Either way, drivers are the ones paying the price.
Overall, the app is poorly optimized, the map is mostly inaccurate, and the workflow design makes daily deliveries inefficient. The company needs to take this seriously and invest in proper development so drivers can work efficiently instead of fighting the app all day.
