Die App macht optisch leider eher den Eindruck, dass es sich um eine dubiose China App ala Temu handeln könnte, da einem so viel an Texten, Funktionen, bunten Icons und Bannern ins Gesicht geklatscht wird, dass es einfach nur viel zu vermüllt und überladen aussieht. Die App bräuchte dringend eine Entschlankung und vor allem ein einheitliches und modernes Layout!

Yer another criminal fraud scam app it seems =P
Demands login information for official Apple store promising access to better store, but it is really just a spam scam to try and trick you into signing up for their subscription services. Instead of being on the Apple App Store, I think it makes more sense to put these guys in jail, maybe a forest labor camp to pay for their crimes? I would bet they are trying already to use my login details to try and rob me, but thankfully I never gave Apple my credit card information so they have no way to steal. If you have credit card details on file with Apple I would suggest you avoid this app like the plague.

So, while installing, the app says it would like to remain free forever, so please allow it to track across apps. You allow it, you allow it to send you notifications. Next screen says try it for free, but it will eventually charge $1.99 a month. So what happened free forever? Misleading=deleting.

What is this for?
I don’t get it. It’s supposed to uncover apps hidden away by the AppStore UI but I keep seeing the same stuff in this app. Why bother?

This app has taken a nosedive over the past couple of months. It’s buggy and it frequently displays an error when trying to load pages. When they do load, they take forever. I’ve replaced it with an alternative.

In letzter Zeit häufig nur Fehlermeldungen
Leider habe ich seit mehreren Monaten häufig Fehlermeldung wie „Service not available“ oder „Exception while fetching data“. Das ist nicht nur vorübergehend sondern dauert manchmal ein bis zwei Tage. Dann geht es mal wieder und dann wieder nicht. Klar, ein Server kann mal gewartet werden oder die Webseite überarbeitet. Aber warum werden in diesem Falle nicht einfach die Daten des letzten Abrufs angezeigt (mit entsprechendem Hinweis), das sähe professioneller aus. So kommt bei mir das Gefühl auf, dass die App nur ein besserer Browser ist, der aussteigt, sobald die URL nicht existiert oder aber der Server down ist.
Auch die Tatsache, dass alles Server-seitig gespeichert wird, kann sauer aufstoßen. Der Import gekaufter Apps über das Einsenden der Medienliste an das Team von AppRaven per Email, die dann wiederum bei sich diese von mir gekauften Medien in meine Liste einfügen hat ein Gschmäckle und ist eher nicht DSGVO-konform. 😉
Auch die Tatsache, dass alles Server-seitig gespeichert wird, kann sauer aufstoßen. No comparison to the no longer existent AppsGoneFree. AppsGoneFree really looked into apps that did NOT go free often. AppRaven has so many apps that go free so frequently, I question if they weren’t supposed to be free to begin with. Many repeat apps and even the free IAP category they have is no comparison, repeat apps and the same PDF scanner, TV control, guitar cord apps. No variety, clear sponsored and not TAILORED. Not going to renew my subscription next year

What a treasure trove of hidden gems! ✨
Besides Indieappcatalog this is one of the only ways to find apps that get buried that aren’t the essential or sponsored. You’ll find this is way more small developer friendly Im terms of searches. I have found more than 20 apps so far from using this for app searches or just having the ability to see other people’s lists and recommendations. Crazy how Apple still has such a horrible search system - you literally don’t have to even scratch the surface to find things here. Thanks for making finding apps a whole lot easier.
