Tried this out. 14.99? Managed to code this in a day. Google API + elevenlabs + basic rag. How is this an app?

Making my commute productive

Unstable and frustrating
Paying $20 a month for this is a joke. The connection is unstable, the UI keeps glitching, and the assistant responds very slowly without really understanding my requests. I tried to interrupt, but the voice assistant is not responsive. For this price, the experience is absolutely not worth it.
One of the best apps
This has been a game changer for editing my calendar. Not sure how they were able to get the models to understand my so perfectly

I’ve used April to get my calendar schedule for the day - and she does that really well. I’m mentally prepped for the day before I get to work!
No value or onbaording before paywall
Very hard to undertand the value of this without experiencing it, and I dont even get an onboarding which is mobile consumer app 101 unless ur Chatgpt or instagram. Only downloaded because of YC brand name, disappointed.
Use it every day
I was lucky to be an early beta user of April - now I’ve been using it every morning while driving to work - it’s so fast and saves me so much time at the office.
