What’s New A better keyboard and more reliable Notes - A refreshed QWERTY keyboard with word suggestions, autocorrection and predictive typing controls, plus standard and Monologue appearance options. - Added Cancel and Stop controls while dictating from the QWERTY keyboard, with improved typing performance and layout consistency. - Notes now handle phone calls, alarms, and other audio interruptions more safely, preserving audio captured before and after the interruption. - Apple Watch Notes can upload without waiting for the iPhone app to be opened, with more reliable fallback syncing. - Create, assign, rename, and remove tags directly from Notes. - Delayed and offline uploads now retain the note’s original recording time. - Fixed an issue that could unexpectedly reopen Monologue while using the keyboard. - Added clearer guidance when Pause Other Audio prevents Quick Dictation from being launched through the Action Button or Shortcuts. - Supported dictation languages can now update automatically. Wispr Flow alt

I love the Every newsletter so much that the apps feel like a bonus. I fell in love with using dictation with Wispr Flow but realized I could do similar or same with Monologue. I have yet to test M on Mac and hoping it has some of the smart saving properties that Wispr does! (Like if I forget to put my cursor in the right place can I go back and grab the transcript from the app directly?) Stoked to give it a try.

it works well operationally, but…

it seems geared only for professional corporate use not personal. everything gets flattened and all tone and personality it stripped away. makes everything sound like a polite old lady. this is not what the description promises when it says “writes the way you talk”. great concept but too sanitized and generic. disappointed. won’t buy it.
