Wispr Flow alt
I love the Every newsletter so much that the apps feel like a bonus. I fell in love with using dictation with Wispr Flow but realized I could do similar or same with Monologue. I have yet to test M on Mac and hoping it has some of the smart saving properties that Wispr does! (Like if I forget to put my cursor in the right place can I go back and grab the transcript from the app directly?) Stoked to give it a try.

Great app
I I love using Monologue. I find that it's made my phone so much easier to use. Highly recommend it. I keep finding new ways to use it.
Excellent
Excellent
it works well operationally, but…
it seems geared only for professional corporate use not personal. everything gets flattened and all tone and personality it stripped away. makes everything sound like a polite old lady. this is not what the description promises when it says “writes the way you talk”. great concept but too sanitized and generic. disappointed. won’t buy it.

Amazing, works great.
I really appreciate how slick the interface is.
Perfect and productive
Development on this has been incredibly fast, but as they add additional features, it's not feeling bloated at all. The app just works and does what it's supposed to do and gets out of the way. It's quickly become the most useful app on my phone.
It works
Obviously this is dictated. First try. No problems.
Wish I Had It Sooner
Total game changer! This makes dictation actually usable, especially for lengthy dictations. The ability to create Modes with rules for different apps or websites is amazing. The Notes feature is also very powerful and has allowed me to capture my thoughts ad hoc and send them to my Notion task inbox. Give Monologue a try, especially if you work on your phone and Mac desktop… it works seamlessly across both.

So much better than apple keyboard
Finally a dictation keyboard that just works! Love the design too. I tried wisprflow before this but that was clunky and kept dropping my notes. But Monologue feels very reliable.
First time using.
Great so far. I really need this anymore because I don't want to text, don't want to type on the phone. I feel like it's slowing me down.
Great addition
Monologue is fantastic. I've been using this product for a while on my laptop and absolutely love it. It feels very, very intuitive, and I'm really glad they've brought it to the iPhone. I'm actually using it to write this as we speak.
Buggy as hell
So inconsistent in whether it works or not. I’m currently dictating using theories voice input because it’s not working.
Next Level Dictation
I've tried several other dictation tools, but Monologue has by far given me the best quality and accuracy over time.
It doesn't just transcribe what you said, but it processes it with an LLM to clean it up and enrich the inputs, often even figuring out what you meant to say, even if you stumbled while saying it.
5/5 I always recommend this tool when anyone mentions voice dictation

Best macOS Dictation App, Finally on iOS!
I've been using Monologue for several months now on my Mac after trying several different speech-to-text apps (and nearly considering building my own because of how frustrated they made me).
Monologue has been the first tool to pass the tipping point for me. The accuracy is top-notch, especially when you leverage the custom dictionary. And while iOS makes it really painful to develop third-party keyboards for their phones, Monologue's approach is very clean and already less buggy than other apps that have been in the market for years.
Great work by the Every Company!

The app I didn’t know I needed — until it changed everything
Naveen and the team at Every have crafted something that respects your time and your flow state.
As a builder constantly juggling between coding sessions, replying to emails, and taking notes, I needed something that could keep up with my thoughts. And Monologue does exactly that.
The Mac experience is already the best in class, and the iOS version is coming along nicely.
One of the best tools that I've added to my stack.

Fantastic product.
I love this thing. It is super accurate. And I love that it understands other languages. It transcribed my Portuguese and Somali perfectly. Thank you.
Great dictation, poor typing.
Dictation works beautifully, but typing is so slow, it's almost unusable.
Doesn’t work.
Unfortunately this doesn't work as advertised. When I came to write a review, I found that the keyboard did pop up but unfortunately in most apps it doesn't.
Instead you just see your other keyboards so apparently this keyboard was not written to support some apps like iMessages and things like that.

Excellent start: Some tweaks needed
Very good effort for the iOS app. I have been using the Mac app for around 3 months, and coming to the iOS format on iPhone is very handy. The notes feature from a quick record functionality is a very useful feature that is very much appreciated (autogenerated summary note and raw transcript) and have started using very early on in this app's life cycle v1.
My main improvements going forward will be the following so this app becomes perfect:
* The playback functionality when revisiting notes should have a speed player so that it can be adjusted to whatever speed rather than the default natural speed. I've noticed when I've shared the audio that it does work when you link and click on the audio artefact say in iMessage, for example, but I think it should be native in the app where you can adjust the speed from at least 1 to 2x directly while playing back the audio
* Another point that I had was in regards to the mode. Sometimes it bugs out by switching the mode but then going to a default app. So, for example, clicking on email but then it will go straight to the mail app. I think that should be slightly more streamlined and perhaps considering edge cases when there needs to be a quick redirect towards an app with a given mode attached to it.
* Finally, I would say that the formatting could be a bit better when exporting the notes online via a shareable link and then pasting it in the browser as it's not well formatted as in on the iOS app. Would be a game changer to have the same standard of formatting available to notes shared in a link.
Exciting start and looking forward to more updates/product releases of this brilliant speech to text app.

Awesome!
I love using Monologue! It understands me clearly and it’s just very convenient, especially when you have a lot to say and not very much time to type.
