About
Although many prayer apps are available, Aqim has a simple purpose: provide the essentials for prayer times and iqama, without unnecessary extras.
Aqim keeps prayer times simple. View the five daily prayers and sunrise, switch the countdown between the end of the current prayer window and the next prayer, and browse Gregorian and Umm al-Qura dates offline.
Choose a bundled city, enter coordinates, or request your location once. Save monthly AlAdhan times with on-device calculation as fallback, or choose local calculation only. Add a small, medium or large Home Screen widget. Its automatic countdown follows iqama, the prayer window end, then the next prayer when there is a gap; tap the countdown to always show the next prayer and back. Share a short introduction and download link using the small button beside the app name. On the Lock Screen, choose the next prayer and its time or a countdown, in circular, rectangular or inline form. Choose light, dark or system appearance. Adjust calculation methods, Asr school, iqama delays, time offsets, language, and 12/24-hour display.
No account, ads, or advertising tracking. Enabled monthly downloads send the selected coordinates to AlAdhan; requested location-name lookup uses Apple services. Manual city selection with local calculation requires neither service.
Iqama is your configured delay, not a live mosque schedule. Times may differ from local timetables. iOS controls widget refresh, notification presentation, sound and Focus. About 12 days of prayer alerts are scheduled; check coverage in Settings and reopen Aqim to renew it when needed and after changing cities.

Widgets now count down to iqama, then the prayer window end, then the next prayer when there is a gap. Tap the countdown to always show the next prayer and back. Added a small text sharing button beside the app name, with a Friday color accent. Friday Dhuhr is now labelled Jumu’ah.
