Latest iOS update crashes
The latest iOS update is making the app crash. It takes picture and when I select next it crashes and doesn’t give me full results and recommendations.
Disappointing
When using “Auto Capture”:
1) the pop up that tell you how to “Dip the test strip…” has a “Cancel” and a “Next” button that are navy blue and letters are black, making it hard to see when trying to view. “Next” and “Cancel” labels should be more contrast-y, perhaps white or yellow.
2) it’s hard to get a “green” alignment of camera with the test strip. Cannot switch to manual capture shutter button either
3) The app’s interpretation of the colors on the test strip don’t seem to reliably correspond to what one sees on the images provided with the strips.
Nice concept to have an app, but I’m not impressed with the interface or the reliability of the readings.

This app does not work!
Installed the latest version just now twice as each time after completing a photo capture and hitting next the app closes and doesn’t record anything. Gemini says this is a common issue with iOS and it recognizes the camera. Not sure if that’s really it. It also doesn’t ask for an email anywhere in setup. When I tried the help page it says I do not have an email registered, yet no place to add it? So far horrible experience.

App crashed and closed trying to use both camera and manual entry
I was really hoping this would guide me as a beginner, but the app would just crash whenever I added a test strip. I did not have any issues with the camera functioning, but no matter what I did the app would crash.

Have had issues with this app since installing 2 yrs ago. Looks like app was updated 2 days ago, app now crashes. Argh

The photo capture will never line up no matter how much I try. The manual entry does fine right up to where you click ‘next’ and then it crashes EVERY TIME! Have the latest edition and have even re-loaded it several times. APP DOES NOT WORK!!

Manual Entry is broken
in the latest version. After entering all test values and tapping NEXT, the app immediately crashes and no results are analyzed or saved. This worked correctly before the update.😫

Absolute garbage
The app would not take a picture of the test strip (tried several times) so I had to resort to manually entering the test readings. After entering the test readings and clicking the next button, the app crashed (again tried several times). Without the app, the test strips are a complete waste of money.

Does not work no matter what I try. I follow instructions over and over but auto capture will not work.

I have tried about 12 different strips on varies colors of gray and it just doesn’t work, continues to fail. Complete waste of money

Multiple Attempts Would Not Read
After trying multiple times practicing and twice with a wet test strip, with a perfect line up, it continued to tell me ‘make sure…..’ Waste of time
Don’t work
Won’t take the picture. Tried inside and outside. No sunlight or shadows. Must make their money selling extra test strips when people have to repeat and repeat. Save your time and money

Taking it off my phone
The primary reason I downloaded the app was for the auto photo capture and automated treatment recommendations. The photo capture feature more often than not will not take the photo until way too much time has passed. Too quirky. Nice idea, less than ideal execution. So now I can buy more cost competitive test strips.

Does Not Work
Auto capture has not worked once with my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Doesn’t matter what light, where it’s at, what angle I’m at, or the height. It does not work. I have another app that will capture it easily, but it wants a test strip color chart and Aqua chek does not come with that.
Failed attempt at a promising concept
Great idea for an app but camera will not capture the image within the 15-30 seconds required. Solution in the app is to try another strip. Great way to sell more strips!!!
Camera won’t focus
I’ve tried every lighting, position, zooming everything I can think of and the camera won’t ever work. The auto capture hasn’t worked once and the manual capture keeps telling me it’s not aligned even when it is. Good concept but has flaws
