When pH sits outside 7.2–7.8, chlorine drops to a wait state with a plain warning. When a reading or pool volume falls outside the range the model can be trusted in, it refuses to guess and says so — a confident wrong dose is worse than no answer. YOUR POOL DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE Pools, readings, and treatment history live on your device — there is no cloud sync of your pool data, and your readings are never uploaded. AquaDose shows ads to fund the free tier; ad delivery uses your device's advertising identifier, and anonymous usage counts (app opens, features used) are recorded against a random per-install ID.
