What a joke
After 2+ years of using Aquatic Log, now you have to pay for premium to log more than 10 things.
Organized and great features
Great app for chronicling an aquarium. I use it for both a FW and a reef tank. I like seeing the graphs of my parameters and being able to upload ICP tests. I tried a couple other apps but like this one the best by far. I do appreciate not being forced to see ads or urged to buy things. Such a relief. Get this one!

Unhappy
All of a sudden I have lost all my entries of inhabitants. Wasted 3 years of records to be told you have to pay me to keep seeing them.
Track ALL your data
Very customizable fields for aquarium testing. Can log almost everything - track livestock, maintenance activities, dosing and all testing results. It’s freaking great!
Unable to update measurements
I’ve been using the free version of this app for a few years & I’ve loved it. Now I suddenly can’t add more than 10 measurements per month?? Currently looking for another app after this update. Previously review would have been 4-5 stars.
Exceptional app, responsive team
I have used Aquatic Log for years across multiple tank configurations. It has consistently provided excellent functionality, with continual feature improvement, and responsive developer support. I recommend this app to both beginner and advanced aquarists.

Everything You Need!
This app contains everything you need to track your reef tank with ease. You have the use of the Aquatic Log website as well as IOS apps and everything syncs across your devices thanks to cloud backup, so you won’t lose your data. Best of all the developer cares about his product and is responsive to suggestions! I have not found all of these features and characteristics in other aquarium tracking apps.

My favorite app
I started reef keeping in July 2025 and knew I wanted to track parameters from the start. I looked for an app that was easy to use and that gave me graphs of the chemistry factors. I tried two, and this one was superior. It’s simple and easy to use and isn’t burdened with ads or social media stuff. I really appreciate it!

Very good
This app is great. I do pay monthly which is very cheap but for the pro version it is worth it for me. It allows me to keep very close track of everything and my parameters even show graphs
Was the best…
This was the best app out there. Unfortunately now he’s getting greedy. And force you to upgrade to pro to even add more than three parameters at a time. There’s also a max of nine parameter updates a month. Basically forces you to purchase the pro… time to move on to Reef Bay

No longer free
I’ve been using this app for 5 years and noticed it’s not longer 100% free. Sadface. I will find another app or resort back to an excel spreadsheet
No longer free to record measurements
New update makes you pay to log more than 5 measurements a month. This app is now useless. Don’t even bother with it.
Works well - too expensive
I used the app for a couple of months before hitting the limit of amount of recordings you can make a month limit.
It’s six dollars a month to log as many parameters you want and I’m just not willing to pay that when there are one off payment options available.

Greedy
Used to be completely free and a great app but now they made so you need a subscription to log more than 5 measurements in 1 month.
Useless at the free level
Been using the app for a couple years until they changed it to 5 parameter logs per month. So you can basically only test once a month.
Exceeded number of inputs?
I test once a week and never had this issue come up? Is it because I confirm after each individual test? Having to pay a premium for a dedicated note taking app for the basic 5 parameters is hilarious. Talk about greed.
