Convoluted proms
The app works well and has a lot of good information. I like the yardage information for the clubs.
I have an issue with promos. I bought a new set of ping clubs. They had a tab for a free set of club sensors and a 45 day trail. I was like cool I will try it. Shipping was $9.99 for the sensors. I received an email receipt for the $9.99 for the sensors and $9.99 for the link. The promo didn’t say anything about the link being sent. I contacted them and after a few emails got a refund for the link shipping. I thought well what the heck I’ll try it while I have it. The link picked up my clubs correctly about 50% of the time my Apple Watch did a better job. I figured the promo was 45 day for the link like the membership. I had noticed they had a promo for a free year subscription with a purchase. I decided I would see how much the link was purchase that so I’d get a year free membership. I get an email about the membership trial ending and the fee to continue to use the app but nothing about the link. I get charged $180 for the link and $199 for the membership. I contact customer service and was informed that the purchase of the link was eligible for the free year membership. They want to charge me another $9.99 to ship it back. So just be careful with the ping free sensors. They are trying to charge me $19.98 for something that is not mentioned in the promo. I think that they up charge a lot for the purchases to cover the “free” year membership.

Great but needed the ability to have multiple driver capability
Great but needed the ability to have multiple driver capability. Players nowadays need the ability to change driver every now and then. I have 3 spare drivers that I switch to. If I install sensors to each, I should be able to select the driver I need for a particular round and I can see the differences individually!

Too many errors
I love the idea of Arccos and tracking all your shot data!!! But way too many missed shots, way too many errors for club selection. I bought this and my new Apple Ultra 3 Apple Watch so I could put my phone away and just enjoy my round. But the opposite has happened. I spend all my time in between holes editing shots (adding shots, deleting shots, adding putts, moving putts). I love having this data as long as it’s correct. Nothing worse than inputting the wrong data. This takes away from the enjoyment of my round. I have my nose buried in my phone when I’m supposed to be enjoying the beautiful course and the partners I’m playing with I do not recommend this app and the sensors. Maybe when the technology gets a little more accurate and reliable.

Too inconsistent
Far too often registers shots from clubs I don’t even take out of the bag. And at times registers wrong club. It’s okay but I’m not thrilled with it .Probably won’t pay for the yearly subscription next time mine is up.
