This app has no ads and a bear who always supports you but you need premium to unlock every section but it is no biggie cuz the open sections take like 2 months to finish and you get stickers and some sort of funny video with the same bear if you get 2 or more questions right and it is really addicting

Good idea but missing some things
The storytelling could be a lot more engaging, especially for kids.
1. I don’t think the storytelling reading level adapts to the profile’s age range
2. The questions sometimes ask things beyond the scope of the narrated story
3. The narration is way too fast and feels impersonal. Sometimes little details go a long way in appealing to audiences, these small details are largely skipped

Great stuff very interesting and surprisingly informative
Informative and interesting
This is the first review I have written for an app but I had to applaud the effort gone into creating these bitesize Islamic history videos. They are told and visualised in a manner that brings it to life whether for young or old and the review questions at the end are a great idea as well. I have learnt so many new things about our history. The only thing I would appeal is that: is there any way that there could be fundraising or a generous donor to sponsor this important project as when I have returned to it after a gap, everything now needs a subscription to access it. I can understand the creator not wanting to interrupt the flow with annoying ads. If there is anyone out there who could sponsor the whole project, to make it free for the Ummah, you would be doing a great service. For this reason only, I am giving 4 rather than 5 stars as I do not want to subscribe to an app in order to access the content, as I have enough expenses as it is, and I find unsubscribing from apps a very difficult experience.

Good for kids
My grand kids don’t know Arabic - and I wanted to find something nice and engaging for them. It is a blessing that I found Archives - they started following me and wanted to read and watch the videos and they loved the quiz at the end cause it gave them that edge of adventure and suspense. They are 8 and 6 yrs old.
It would be amazing if in the future it turns into an interactive video game.

I strongly recommend this app, very helpful and informative. My 6 years daughter insists to sit with me and we loved questioning each other even long after finishing whole day’s lesson

I came to Br Basel on Facebook or YouTube. It’s amazing how he creates the content in a remarkably funny, engaging and educational manner. No useless scrolling but educational with fun.

My kids and I love it
I came across brother Basel content on youtube and it’s MashaAllah amazing. As soon as I saw him introducing the app, I dowloaded it and checked it right away. My kids love it, they ask me so many questions while we read the articles and they enjoy answering the quiz questions. We are excited to read more.

I love this app! Very simple and easy to follow stories with visuals. I downloaded this to teach my child main topics and stories in Islam, but I enjoy going through the stories too! You get quizzed along with the stories to help retain your knowledge, and it gives you coins when you pass to make it feel rewarding for children. Once you finish stories, more become unlocked. Jazak Allah khair to the creators of this app 🙏🏽
