Most of the stuff doesn’t work. The survey is supposed to be 50 points, but it doesn’t work. I try to check into locations but it says I’m not really there, and it’s not correctly counting my pitchforks, so I can’t cash them in
New update did more damage than it “fixed” things
Can no longer access Sun Devil rewards. Will not let you sign in with credentials.
Doesn’t work
No one can log in. Says sign in as guest which isn’t an option no matter which option you select. It’s been over a month since anything has worked. Just deleted and redownloaded after supposed fixes. Still no change. I use to love the app. Now it’s just a box you can’t use.

New update is actually useless. Took a fairly functional app and removed all the features. Fire whoever decided this update was a good idea.

Unable to redeem secret words, says they are all invalid; shows no events or news; pitchforks balance not updating.
SunDevil Rewards Points reset
My SunDevil Rewards Points reset, which deleted 5,000 points! I worked so hard to gather all of these points and now, they’re not even saved in my lifetime bank. This app sucks and there is no way to contact customer support. Don’t even bother participating in the reward system because it feels like a scam to ensure a certain number of daily users.

Can’t access the app after update
Completely frustrating can’t access the app after the update requiring to contact IT helpdesk for a passcode, which is ridiculous when I have duo set up and it’s no longer connecting. They need to fix this. This is completely blocking students from accessing the app.
No direct canvas access
No longer allows you to access canvas in the app. You click canvas and it opens a web page. There are a lot of improvements and it looks better, but being redirected to a different browser where you have to sign in again is pretty frustrating. Even limited access to canvas is better than this, it’s the only reason I downloaded the app in the first place. I just wanted to check my grades.

Required but useless
As a graduate student I’m required to use the ASU app for my student ID card and building access. The app itself shows my card but is otherwise useless. Previous versions had good information like maps and events happening that day. The new version removed that info and all embedded account access. This pushes the necessary content like Canvas or MyASU to an external login. What is the point of the app, then? Bring back the SunCard!

App changed
It used to be a place to easily look up classes, financial aid, important topics but they changed it to a worthless social app. It’s just an app that focuses too much on ASU events and news. Pointless to have this, since they already have another apps focused on social events.
New Update
The new update is awful and makes me follow a shortcut to the web browser just to view my classes.
Hate the new app
I greatly dislike the new app. It now serves no purpose. If I have to re-login to the MyASU website, then why am I using the app. I will just go straight to the website. Please change it back.

After the latest update the app is completely useless. Why did you kill the core functionality? For example, there is no way to check M&G or meal plan balance anymore.

Innovation at its finest
For many students, the sole purpose of this app is to add your student ID to your phones wallet. This, however, does not yield great results. Someone please let me into the fitness center, I have been stranded outside waiting for my mobile ID request to go through (again).
Clunky functionality, Passkey issues
The app often redirects to webpages that require authentication again for a lot of the essential ASU services. This takes away from the seamless experience of using an app.. why would I use this if it doesn’t provide that seamless experience.
Furthermore, the passkey function doesn’t work for me.. when I attempt to create one I get redirected to ASU Oauth, after authenticating the app gets stuck on a sign-in page to “use your passkey”
The app developers really need to make this more user friendly and less buggy.

Easy Access to Everything
The low ratings for this app had me feeling unsure about installing it, however, I think it’s great and there are a lot of great resources. Exactly like the regular website.
