Horrible App
Super glitchy, doesn’t give me attendance, bought a physical remote and didn’t get my five years free subscription. Complete scam, professors please do not make students pay for this.
Terrible
The whole concept of this is a scam and rips students off for the most basic software that should be free. Also sometimes the app doesn’t load during class so I get marked absent. Terrible concept for a company that literally makes a ton of money by somehow swindling schools to get all their students to buy this.

An Enemy of the People
In theory, iclicker could be a great academic tool. In practice, it’s deeply unreliable. When your grade depends on every correct answer and the app won’t load the question or repeatedly loses connection costing you multiple marks every class, a visceral hatred begins to fester. There must be a more reliable way for universities to assess students, rather than relying on an app that doesn’t always reflect a student’s understanding and instead penalizes them for internet or technical issues that are out of their control.
