Worst update ever
Getting my local news on this app was part of my morning routine for years, I loved it. Even with the ads. Unfortunately, the new look is just offputting. It’s hard to take a quick look at local news the font and the look is horrible and the way it’s presented is horrible
No good
I don’t like the newest version of the app. I like to be able to swipe and that is gone. Also you can’t read the entire headline. Just a couple words.

This just keeps getting worse and worse
At first this app was OK. Then they added an ad that you have to watch before you can look at anything on their site. Then they added another ad that blocks everything until you watch at least half of it once you do get on their site. Now, every time they send me a notification and I click on it, it sends me to a completely different story (after I watched the ads) and I have to search for the story that I wanted to read. This is gone beyond ridiculous and there’s no way to contact them to let them know.

Need to remove commercials that are inappropriate and offensive
Live streaming has too many redundant back to back commercials and inappropriate commercials for apps. Not family friendly.
Worst update ever
After the most recent update videos auto play which isn’t a big deal but even with my phone on silent the audio plays aloud. Annoying as F. If this is not rectified with the next update I will be deleting this app forever.

Ads at bottom - very spammy!! They actually push you to click on these spammy ads to move away from their app? That’s bad marketing. They make money from ads that are pushing trash products and articles. Legitimate news sites should not push these types of ads. Makes their site look dodgy, cheap and insignificant

Pop up ads
Most recent update doesn’t allow me to mute or pause video news stories that I didn’t even open. They just randomly show up at hoonofnothwr articles I want to read. Time to change news apps

I don’t like ads playing automatic. I should have the options to play them.
Landscape view
When i rotate my iPad to Landscape, the app won’t rotate. I’ve checked the settings on the iPad . Is there an app setting for the app to auto rotate when i rotate the iPad to handcart?
Keep getting kicked out and automated cc
Just recently the app has cc when I didn’t set that up. I cannot turn it off. Also we keep getting kicked out while watching. Happens on multiple TV’s.

What was a good news app was ruined by flashing lights across the screen and difficult to read graphics
Arizona Family app
Only shows up as with a portrait view available. Will not be using this app unless a horizontal option is made available.
App stuck in vertical
The newest update does not allow you to watch in horizontal on the iPad. I know it’s not me or the iPad because I can watch on ABC15’s app just fine. I guess I’m switching to ABC15
Not happy
This used to be my go to app for AZ news but now you have it set up where videos auto play. Some videos are not even the same story you’re trying to read. It’s very annoying
Love the station, hate the changes
I have been a life-long AZ Family news fan, but it’s becoming a chore to catch the morning news. After the recent changes where I can no longer stream my local stations on my tv, I started using the app to watch/listen to the news while I get ready for my day. The most recent update removed the option to watch Picture in Picture, so I can no longer even check emails while watching. I’m wondering if the goal is to reduce the fan base and the number of viewers overall. If so, I think it’s working! Local news stations should be available on the tv, with flexibility on the app.

Ads are set to autoplay, volume on, no ability to pause
While I appreciate the availability of the news without a paying subscription and recognize the need for ads to support them, the fact they autoplay with the volume on (instead of muted) and there is no ability to pause is driving me not to use the app.
You can’t check the news in public places, as you now are contributing to the noise pollution. You can’t check the news while waiting for a meeting to start as you annoy all the people in the room / on the call.

Not Always Current
You often see a headline, "Just Breaking," "Just In," "Join live stream," and then you start to read the story and find the news is a day or two old! Update more often and discard day-old stories unless there is a definite interest in updating and follow up. Just don't continue to call the old portion breaking news. Unfortunately, what is truly breaking news often does not get put on right away. I may open the app in the morning and find only one or two new stories the rest being filled with yesterday's still "breaking" news.

iPad no longer goes horizontal
The app isn’t very usable using an iPad. Can’t figure out how to get the app to turn horizontal. Stuck in vertical only
