what happened to this app?
It used to work great - I could use it to set recordings no matter where I was in the country. Now it just keeps telling me my media player is not available. So diappointing.
Terrible! Needs an update
Please update! A lock icon shows up every time I want to watch a recorded show. I have to restart my tablet, and restart my streamer just to get it working again. And don’t you dare leave the app if you are in the middle of watching a show because that will lock you out as well. There has got to be better technology to watch recorded tv on your tablet.

App sucks
Unfortunately this is the only app that I can use with my account but it sucks. On average i have to reinstall the app at least monthly and set all my favourites again. C’mon you can do better.
App Doesn’t Work Anymore — Needs Bug Fixes/Updates
This app used to work perfectly for a number of years. However, over this past year it stopped opening. There have been several iOS updates since it was last updated — which looks like it was 3 years ago. We’re now on iPad iOS version 14. Will the app be updated and all bugs fixed some time soon — PLEASE?

Nice app when it works which is almost never
Such a useful app when it works. But it rarely does. My current problem won’t link to the gateway. Says we’re no in the same wi-go but we are. So frustrating. Why won’t they fix this app?????
Needs to be upgraded
I have had this app for over a year and have ongoing problems that Eastlink is not able to help with. Freezing when it does play, not showing recorded shows and now saying I already have too much steaming when I am not watching anything on any device.
Unable to stream
Does not stream to my iPad so unable to watch live or recorded content. Disappointing....
Update the app
When I was with bill I could control YouTube and Netflix with my phone, I could also record from the app

Eastlink provider plea
This app worked great for me; but just for navigating the guide and organizing my recordings, I have never been able to stream (Eastlink is my provider). Since the iPad OS 13 update I’m only able to use it as a remote. When updating this app to fix the problem the update created; please consider also fixing the streaming issue for Eastlink customers, I see it reported several times throughout previous reviews.

Worked great until iPadOS 13
Enjoyed this app for the most part a few freeze ups along the way but could live with it until iPadOS 13
Stopped working pairs successfully but will not retrieve line up for guide.

Just terrible
This app never worked well but I used it anyway for a long time. Constant freezing while watching recorded content. Had to close and restart a recording 8-10 times per tv episode. Now with the recent iOS update it won’t work at all. I’ve restarted all the devices. Paired everything again and no luck. It won’t load the TV guide menu or show my recordings! Completely useless!

Keeps crashing
Since new iPadOS 13 dropped app keeps crashing. Also the link to the developer website gives a 404 error.
App Needs to Update
This app does not pair with my receiver. I have a disability and using my phone as my remote is so much easier than using the actual remote. I switched from Bell hoping Eastlink would have this option as well.

This app should be replaced with one that actually works consistently. Every few days I get the above message and I have to reinstall the app, get another pairing code and maybe it will work. Now even that does not work and I can’t even watch live TV let alone anything I’ve recorded. I’ve spoken to staff at the Tier 2 level of Eastlink to no avail. But they will still take my money! I’m way beyond frustrated with their excuses and utter indifference and incompetence.

I really depended on this app for years. It's great when it works. Then it stopped working and I can't pair. I've tried everything. Time to cut the cord, I guess. Maybe the push I needed.
Issues with remote recording
This used to be an amazing app (a five star rating) as I could record when we are traveling on vacation and be able to watch recorded shows when we got home. Worked perfectly until this week and am unable to record remotely. Please fix.
Does not work with Eastlink on my iPhone 7.
Despite 4 tech support sessions and 2 in-home repair attempts, this feature/device simply does not work. EXTREMELY frustrating. Can call up the guide and occasionally set it to record, but completely unable to watch/stream anything with this app when I’m not on my own home network, which is the whole point of having this.
The App guide is often full of errors, particularly for sports. When attempting to record hockey or baseball I get an error message saying the program is unavailable or locked... neither is true.
The old Eastlink streamer for my laptop pc does work when I’m away from home, although always has crappy/choppy picture resolution.
