Not capturing the sound.
I have my range on the backyard in a Fl suburb. The app doesn’t catch the sounds. Help
Love it!
So far I’ve shot around 200 arrows using the app. It is consistent however, it runs about 20fps slower than my Garmin chrono. I would like to see an option to force match the apps readings to my known good chrono. I absolutely love this app and I’m looking forward to see how it improves over time. Well done!

Doesn’t work
I would have loved this to work as it should but when I downloaded it doesn’t fit my screen properly. Stuff cut off on both sides. Also doesn’t pick up the shot or arrow hitting target. If I clap twice it picks that up and gives me a “speed” but cannot hear my bow or target for some reason. If someone can tell me how to make this work I’d love to change my review

Excellent Alternative
For us backyard archers, this is an excellent alternative to an expensive Chrono. Due to the limited distance I have available (15 yards), this is a great way to gauge my fps. I have 8 bows that I have measured with a cheap chrono and this is much more convenient. The accuracy is within 5fps of the cheap chrono and that is good enough for my use. I really like being able to keep my different bows and arrows tagged in the app and the sessions feature. I would love a way to export the data so I could keep it in a spreadsheet for easy comparison.

Works but huge flaw
It works great when it’s calm out. If there is any wind it will pick up on that and read wrong. It will also give false shots that didn’t happen. It reads a bit slow compared to a Harmon zero but that’s because the Harmon reads initial speed and this reads average.
A great start!
So this app is a great start! We need to be able to input important info about our arrow weight. I believe this could be put into an equation that would allow us to see arrow speeds including just off the string, and down range at your designated distance. This could also be used to calculate total ftlbs of energy down range on the app instead of doing the math. I also didn’t understand where I needed my cal offset adjustment to be. Again this is a great start can’t wait to see more from this app!

It's amazing for the price
This is not your $500+ chronograph but it differently competes with any Chrono under $500 it uses sound, the release sound and the impact on the target sound, the best results I got outside was at 15 yard it was a little windy, but still picked up all my shots at 20 yard I had to turn my volume up and it captured 3 out of 5 shots. It's the average speed and is definitely worth using

Very cool!
This thing is so easy to work with and seems really accurate. It is very sensitive at higher distances like 60 yards, I had to delete readings that were false because of the sensitivity to sound. but it was still really cool and measured mine at 283 ft./s at 60 yards
Matches well at short range
I used a buddies Garmin and it matches the exit speed at 10 yards using Arrow Time. After that the velocity starts to differ too much to make an accurate long range tape using any current sight tape application that uses two speed points. I can see this as a great tool to get a starting point to build a sight tape with how accurate it is at that 10 yard distance. Would love to see it measure even closer at 5-8 yards when I’m building bows and starter tapes in the shop.

Background noise
I really love the app and how it works. It matches my bow speed very close and I understand that it measures speed differently than a regular chronograph. Since this app uses sound it had false readings because it was windy and also picking up on road noise that I usually don’t get in my backyard. When it was calm and not noisy the app worked great. Just got a few false reading when noise was present of like 980 fps. Still like the app and the science behind it.

Great start
This app is pretty good. It is super convenient being on my phone. It never missed a shot for me. I need to shoot more to see how it stacks up accuracy wise, but it is really good for verifying changes to arrows or setups to see what the Delta is between them.
