User reviews

Always late

The online edition always gets uploaded late. It’s almost feb And the jan/feb issue still isn’t available.

Disappointed

Dissatisfied with the fact that half the content does not load, please please fix this...

Doesn't refresh

Constant issues with latest issue not loading despite email notification to say the latest issue is there waiting for me!!

Essential resource for Australian art lovers, but not searchable

Art Almanac details Australia's Gallery Exhibitions and Art Services on its comprehensive Listing pages.

The magazine also features extended Exhibition Reviews, the latest Art News and Events, prizes and awards, as well as a selection of Exhibitions in Brief.

Unfortunately this e-edition does not take full advantage of the digital format and is not searchable (though the website is, and provides access to most of the materials, though delayed in issue compared to the mag.) It does contain links to listing websites and emails however.

I have downloaded for comparison both the Zinio and Newsstand versions. They are are identical; neither is searchable, nor does either permit textcopy/pasting or text selection. However the Newsstand version is perceivably sharper (in the same device) in rendering both text and images.
