AI-powered garbage
Wasted a lot of time with a built/in AI chatbot that is nowhere near ready for public release, and my frustration only subsided when I deleted the app and used the paper floor plan given to me on arrival.

Incredibly inefficient
This app is so inefficient. It’s nearly impossible to login— says to check your email for you login verification code, but then takes 20 min to send it. And then just sends you through the whole login process over and over again, never actually allowing you to access your account. Waste of time.
👎🏼 bad usability
Sign in/register should be allowed to skip until I see if this is worth it. No so you lost me. This should not be treated like some finance app. It’s art.

Full of completely unnecessary AI features that provide useless info at best, and incorrect info at worst.
At the same time, essential features are missing, like the very obvious need to search for an event by name.
There’s confusing bugs, like not being able to add an event to your list if it’s already started (even if the event runs all day).
Worst of all, a LOT of the opening times, event times and info in the app are simply wrong. We turned up to galleries that told us they’re not participating in Art Basel at all. We also turned up to galleries an hour before the opened more than once thanks to the in the app.
Go back to basics, remove the useless AI, and have accurate, searchable info please.

Copilot (KI) nützt nichts
Die KI der App ist umständlich und kennt die eigenen Veranstaltungen nur wenig. Die Website ist dort besser. Eine einfache Suchfunktion (nicht nur Filter) wäre besser gewesen und macht nicht abhängig von einer funktionierenden KI. Zumal sich der Microsoft Copilot auch schon 5:30am aufhängt - wie wird das wohl erst zur Mittagszeit…
Zwei Sterne gibt es für den Veranstaltungskalender.
Und was hier schon kritisiert wurde, ja, deutsch ist auswählbar, doch nicht alles wurde auch ins Deutsche übertragen

Absolut enttäuschende KI
Einmal mehr zeigt sich, wo die Grenzen von KI liegen - dann sollte man es lieber lassen. Ich wollte meine bereits gekauften Tickets in die App hochladen. Auf die Frage, wie das geht, antwortet mir die KI Copilot, ich möge die Art Basel App nutzen. Auf den Hinweis, dass ich doch genau diese App bereits für die Frage nutze, reagiert die Copilot-KI mit einer Entschuldigung und ich möge die TicketSektion dieser App nutzen. Diese existiert jedoch offenbar gar nicht, und die KI kann mir auch nicht sagen, wo diese sei, sondern ich möge doch bitte dafür die Art Basel App nutzen.

Ai hallucinates
Tried with a few artists, the results are always “there is no information in our database, bet here’s more about them”. The additional data returned is wrong or tells about artwork that does not exist.
Moron designed a sign up flow
If you’re wondering why so many people don’t complete the sign up is because it’s super poorly designed. First of all for this type of app it shouldn’t be mandatory second it shouldn’t be a five step process with an email confirmation. You gotta not respect your user to force them to go through such a pain.

Great new app!
Awesome new app that enables me to see all the events at the fair and add them to my calendar. AI assistant is really handy for tips about what to do and see, and where things are located at the fair.
What was the meaning of this?
This did not improve my Art Basel experience at all. Very frustrating to be transferred to the main event page with every click. Pointless really.
Doesn’t have option to forget password
I can’t access my virtual pass and cannot find the said qr code I should be receiving on my email. I also tried to login to the app to find it only to be rerouted back to the original accepted invitation page asking to find the pass on the app. There’s also no way to reset your password if you’ve forgotten it.
