Don’t waste your time

This App is garbage. From beginning to end nothing was correct. The timing, the miles everything was off always absolute garbage. Don’t waste your time. I spent the extra money so I could get space weather. Space weather half the time wouldn’t update and I get an error message.

Terrible delay

This app was delayed by more than 19 minutes. Watching the news was 10/15 minutes faster than when I would get a notification from the app. Parachutes deployed notification was so delayed , the astronauts were IRL already getting out of the capsule.

Awesome concept

Not sure what I really got for the $4 Mission Control upgrade. It used to show me the CME’s on the weather module but since the last update, it just says “Could not load data: Decoding failed: the data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format” However, I’d still like to tip my hat to the developers for the real time data. The app is cool but needs a couple adjustments. Hope this helps. Go Artemis!!

The weather module is working now, but the re-entry data is not correct. Splashdown time is confirmed by NASA as 8:07pm EST Friday. Not 4:35pm Saturday like the app says.

Thank you — the concept is exactly what we're committed to delivering on. The "Decoding failed" error in the Space Weather module was a known bug in v1.1.0 and is fully resolved in v1.2.0, so please update if you haven't already. We also understand the frustration of paying for premium features that weren't working correctly at launch — that's on us, and we're sorry. More features that justify that purchase are coming in v2.0; reach out to us directly if you'd like to discuss your experience in the meantime.

This is a 5 star app and well worth the purchasing. The developer seems to be listening and is fixing the issues. I've had no more issues the last two days, absolutely love the widgets and the dev has now added details about future Artemis launches! This app is legit, thx dev(s).

Terrible

I have had this app since shuttle launch to watch the progress. The only paid thing on the app was the weather. Now suddenly after the last update I have to pay to track the progress as well. Not worth it when it’s already half over.

Thank you for being here since launch — that genuinely means a lot. I understand the frustration with the paywall change. The main screen with live telemetry — distance, speed, and mission progress — is still free and always will be. Premium unlocks the detailed tracking view with additional data. I'm a solo developer and could have communicated that transition better. v2.0.1 also brings significant accuracy improvements, and I hope you'll give it another look.

Don’t upgrade to paid version

The paid version doesn’t work, the weather tab just says “could not load data, the data couldn’t be read because it is not in the correct format.” Been that way for days, even after re-installing and restoring purchases.
Update: “Could not load data: HTTP error 503” and they’re not allowing refunds. Buyer beware.

I'm truly sorry — you paid for something that didn't work, and that's on me. The 503 errors were caused by outages on NASA's API that my app failed to handle gracefully, which is a bug I should have caught before release. v2.0.1 includes a proper fallback so the app degrades cleanly instead of showing a cryptic error. Regarding the refund: Apple handles all purchases and refunds through their standard process at reportaproblem.apple.com — please don't hesitate to request one, and I fully support it given what you experienced.

Get the NASA App Instead

Don’t download. This is not an official app. The real NASA app gives all this for free. This app was fine when the mission first started and everything was free and the NASA app was working out their kinks. This app’s info/data is all off and out of sync with the mission, and now everything is blocked by a paywall anyway. Don’t fall for this scam.

You're absolutely right that this is not an official NASA app — it's an independent third-party tracker, and that's stated in the app description. The data sync issues in v1.2.0 were real bugs: distance figures and mission phase display were incorrect, and v2.0.1 fixes both using JPL Horizons data for accurate positioning. Basic telemetry — distance, speed, and mission progress — remains free on the main screen. I understand if the NASA app better suits your needs, and I appreciate the honest feedback.

Erroneous, bogus information

Ever since the pause at T- 10:00 min the app has been off, acted like it had lifted off and even had mph when the rocket was still on the ground. Fail
UPDATE, I changed to 2 stars, simply because the developer contacted me back and was nice. Answer me this, how can a rocket that is sitting still on the pad report to your app a velocity of an enormous amount? I would believe it if the app just wasn’t in sync, as in behind the live feed, but how can your app see into the future? Sadly I will not be using the app any further, how can I believe anything it says after that.

You're right — during the T-10:00 hold, our simulation continued counting as if launch had occurred. This is fixed in version 1.2.0 (in review with Apple now). The app uses the confirmed launch time (22:35:12 UTC) and switches to real NASA telemetry data after liftoff. We apologize for the inaccuracy during that critical moment.

Full of bugs and not even close to real-time data feed

User interface is cool but the app itself is full of incorrect and inconsistent information about the mission information as well as the real-time data.

We've since released version 1.2.0 which completely rewrites the telemetry system using NASA's AROW ground station data, updating every 30 seconds. Please update the app and let us know if the experience improves.

Distance discrepancy between app and official NASA channel

I like the app, but the distance indicators in the app from earth or to moon are very different from the distance indicators on the live feed of the NASA channel. So can I even trust the data in the app?

Distance discrepancies between our app and NASA's public feed were part of the telemetry issues addressed in v1.2.0, which syncs live data from NASA AROW ground stations every 30 seconds. Disappointing

Got this expecting more detailed graphics on the location of the rocket. Didn’t see what I was expecting so I decided to fork over the $3.99 for the more detailed info. Not sure if it includes what I was hoping for because the subscription portion has yet to load. It keeps indicating a decoding issue. Hopefully, this is because their attention is fully fixed on the mission, I just wish I could watch more intently, as well.

The premium subscription decoding error was a real bug, and the graphics experience fell short of what we intended — both fair criticisms. Version 1.2.0, currently in Apple review, fixes the decoding issues in premium features and significantly improves the live data foundation that the visualizations are built on. We hope the update brings the app closer to what you were expecting.

Love the real time tracking

It’s so amazing to be able to have real time tracking data at my fingertips for this historic mission. It did lose accuracy around the TLI but the recent update fixed that.

Next year?

The data is updated for next year. I figured if we paid we would get Live data?! Not so. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. Still no luck. Please fix.

Paying for live mission data and seeing a date from next year instead is a fundamental failure of what the app is supposed to do — we won't argue with that. The countdown and date display bug in v1.1.0 was real, and a reinstall wouldn't have fixed it since the issue was in the app logic itself. Version 1.2.0, currently in Apple review, corrects the date/countdown system and rebuilds the live telemetry pipeline. Thank you for your patience.

Telemetry issues

I was really looking forward to this app, but the telemetry is far behind. ** The update made a large improvement. everything seems to be working …thank you for the fix.

App is awesome

For what it is, it does exactly what I would want it to do. The paid version probably isn’t worth it but I really don’t mind supporting the dev. UI is beautiful and there’s so mainly interesting details. Make sure to update the app manually if your data starts looking weird because I ran into that problem but other than that it’s awesome. It provides info most news channels and websites don’t give you.

Showing 2027 mission??

Why all of a sudden is the data showing for 2027’s launch and not the current mission progress? I paid for this interface and now it’s all jacked up? Come on folks.

We're sorry about this — there was a bug where the launch status service overwrote the correct launch date with a future date. This is fixed in version 1.2.0 (submitted to Apple, coming shortly). The app now permanently locks in the actual launch time (April 1, 2026, 22:35 UTC) and shows live mission data. It will display correctly as soon as the update is available.

Updates not working

This app is not even close to providing accurate information. After conversations, the speed is grossly high. Distances from earth/moon are not close either. I was hoping for something more accurate. Nice try, falls short so far.

We appreciate the feedback. Version 1.0.7 used simulated trajectory data that wasn't calibrated correctly. Version 1.2.0 is a complete overhaul — real telemetry from NASA's AROW ground stations, the same data NASA Mission Control uses. Distance and speed values are accurate and update every second. Currently in review with Apple — please update when available.
