Hi there, thanks for your feedback and we are sorry you are experiencing problems opening the ARU app and gaining access. The ARU app is for ARU HE (higher education) students only. If you fall under this criteria, please could you email us with more details of your issue at userexperience@aru.ac.uk sharing your ARU email / username, student number and any relevant screenshots so our team can investigate. Thank you.

The old apps better

Hi lidxz, thank you for your feedback. Your timetable for Trimester 1 should have appeared for you on the app from 27 August. Please check back and see if your timetable is now loaded. If you still have problems, please contact timetabling@aru.ac.uk
New App removes easy way to check emails
This new one redirects you to whatever browser you use. Problem with this means I have to then log out of my main personal email address to log in and check my uni emails (they both use outlook).
Problem with doing this it then logs me out of any linked outlook accounts I use on my phone/browser and then I find myself having to log back into my person email.
Basically it’s a huge annoyance now having to switch between the two email accounts, when before I didn’t have to faff about.

Hi Rojo1990, Thanks for sharing your feedback and we’re sorry to hear you’ve experienced issues with accessing your student email. We appreciate that having to access email via different logins with your device browser can be frustrating. To support with these concerns, an updated version of the new ARU app will be made available within the next two weeks, to support seamless linking to your ARU Email within your browser.
