Pass

I would rate it lower if I could. Not every aspect of every workout needs ai. I couldn’t even start a workout.
I’ll sick with the apps I already have.

Suggestion

As a beginner, I love the workout generation and the ability to track my caloric intake. What I don't like is that the app does not roll over the day/date based upon location. It's EXTREMELY hard to track my intake when the app rolls over the day at 7pm my time. I can't imagine it's that hard to tie day/date to the users location. That's the biggest fail I see.
Continued technical issues, coupled with the fact that the app will not update beyond version 1.0.0 and now it's rejecting my previously connected Apple Watch, makes me no longer want to support this app via subscription, paid or free.

Response from developer

Thanks for calling this out. You’re right: Fuel should follow your local day, not roll over in the evening. We found this timezone issue affecting users in negative-UTC time zones and have fixed it for the next App Store update. Please update when the new version is available, and if you still see it after that, contact us from the app so we can check your account directly.

Horrible for US users

The App defaults back to kgs and cms for all generated programs. Huge bug rendering this app useless. The AI feature allows you to requests your defaults to be set to Imperial Units BUT that doesn’t change a thing about your generated plans which happily stays in KGs

Response from developer

Thank you for flagging this so clearly — you were right, and it was an important bug. Generated programs defaulting to kg/cm even with imperial selected has been fixed in recent updates (we're now on 1.3.7): your unit preference now carries through to the generated plans, not just the app settings. We'd really appreciate it if you updated and gave Arvo another shot — and if anything still shows in the wrong units, message us from the in-app chat and we'll jump on it right away.

Impressive

Very impressive depth, detail and individualized analysis for an AI driven workout planner. I look forward to trying out my generated workout in practice. Unfortunately, although the app settings do seem to provide for metric vs. imperial systems, the weights are still shown only in kg. Also the app is not quite complete with English translations, for example, the AI chatbot likes to provide references in Italian.

Response from developer

Thank you for such a thoughtful review! You pinpointed two real issues: weights showing in kg despite the imperial setting, and incomplete English (the AI coach slipping into Italian for references). Both have been a major focus — recent updates (now 1.3.7) make your imperial preference carry through to generated plans, not just settings, and improve English consistency across the app and the chatbot. We'd love for you to update and tell us how your generated workout goes in practice.

Not ready yet - looks promising

App looks very promising - still not fully translated to English in some sections and will not convert to imperial measurements….will watch for updates before paying.

Response from developer

Thanks for giving Arvo a look! The two things holding you back — incomplete English translations and units not converting to imperial — have both been addressed in recent updates (we're now on 1.3.7), so imperial now carries through to your plans and the English is much more consistent. We'd love for you to take another look before deciding, and we're happy to help directly via the in-app chat if you do.
