Not so good anymore
A staff member showed me their app the other day and they’re able to tailor make their own offers, she said don’t you have that? I’m assuming this is something you’ve made available to staff members only as now I earn nothing for spending about £100 a week in Asda. I used to earn between £3-£6 per week using the app now I earn nothing. I once earnt £90 in my Xmas cash pot it’s currently at 69p from January to July. Meanwhile I’ve shopped at Tesco the same time period (although not as much as Asda is much more local so maybe £25 per week since January, and I’m on £18) if I move my shop to Tesco I’m much more likely to benefit. There’s nothing wrong with the app, you’ve just made the offers non tailored to me so I never earn £2 as I’ve spent £5 on bedding plants, or something of the sort. It’s just become not very good. I’ve always shopped at Asda without expecting a reward, but if you’re going to launch a loyalty scheme it needs to be worth my while or it sours my relationship and I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Asda Rewards - really?
How anyone can call this “Asda Rewards” is beyond me. We shop in Asda at least 5 times a week and my cash pot has been 68p since well before Jan!! There are no starred items on the shelves now where you used to earn money on, they only have ridiculous missions for stuff I don’t need let alone want!! I’m sure calling this a “Rewards” scheme must contravene some trading standards act somewhere?

Gone bad
The card has stopped working collecting point. What a waste of our time should start doing shopping in Sainsbury’s from now on they have better offer their card always work also you get pointed on your Nectar.
Waste of time
I’ve been scanning the barcode in my apple wallet for months when I realised it wasn’t connecting to the app, so I tried opening the app every time instead but nothing, I’ve easily spent £500+ and my cash pot is at like 60p and no transactions recognised 🙂🙂🙂🙂😠
Asda ‘no rewards’ scheme
So today I checked my Asda rewards app and despite shopping in there almost every day I have earned £0 since April! Phoned customer service to check my transactions and yes they could see them all but what I purchased clearly didn’t earn anything - I am deleting the app as it’s absolutely useless and I take my custom elsewhere!
