A/SIDE is a private app for the friends who actually know you. No algorithm. No ads. No AI training. No selling data. Just a feed, in order, from the people you chose. YOUR FEED IN ORDER Posts appear in strict reverse-chronological order from the people you follow. No ranking. No "suggested for you." No engagement-based reordering. No trending tab. No explore tab. You open the app and see what your people posted, newest first. React to any post with any emoji, whatever fits. ENCRYPTED MESSAGES Direct messages and group chats are end-to-end encrypted with the Signal Protocol — the same protocol behind Signal and WhatsApp. Photos in DMs are encrypted too. We can't read them. Nobody can, except the people in the conversation. PRIVATE BY DESIGN A/SIDE has no public profiles, no discovery, no search. There's nowhere to land if you don't know somebody inside. A friend sends you an invite code, or you ask to follow someone — both sides have to confirm. Nothing about you is searchable from the outside. Screenshots get a reminder that off-platform sharing isn't allowed and may lead to account suspension. GROUPS Make a group for family, for your climbing crew, for your book club. Tap a group to filter the feed to just those people. Nobody knows they're in a group — it's a lens, not a broadcast list. VOICE Real-time voice dictation for captions, comments, and DMs. Fully on device using Apple's speech recognition. Audio never leaves your phone. Requires iOS 26+.
