AskMariam 1.1.0 — Voice chat You can now talk to AskMariam by voice. Please try: 1. Start by voice: tap "Ask by voice" on the empty chat screen, or the voice button on the right when the text box is empty. You'll be asked for microphone access the first time. 2. Greeting: when a new chat starts by voice, Mariam should greet you in your phone's language. 3. Ask a question: ask a religious question out loud (e.g. "How do I perform wudu?"). The answer should cite sources; the source books should appear when you return to the chat. 4. Language: if you speak another language (Turkish, Arabic…), the answer should come in that language. 5. Voice ↔ text: while talking, tap the down arrow to return to the chat and continue by typing, then switch back to voice. The earlier context must not be lost. 6. Interrupting: talk over Mariam while she is speaking; she should stop and listen. 7. Audio output: try the speaker, wired headphones and Bluetooth. 8. Long conversation: talk for a few minutes; the screen should stay on and the connection should hold. If it drops, it should reconnect by itself. 9. Interruptions: send the app to the background or take a phone call; what was said should stay saved in the chat. 10. Microphone permission: turn it off in Settings and try again; you should see a clear message. If something goes wrong, please send feedback with a screenshot and the time it happened.
