Still not working well.

I couldn’t access the self assessment or the forums. I couldn’t login but I was identified as registered. Information seemed vague but maybe because I couldn’t gain access to more detailed levels. I’ve deleted it.

Really light on information

The limited information available is very general and not at all comprehensive, suited for women who are just starting to learn about their PCOS. Navigation is poor so I can only assume I’ve read everything which took me less than half an hour. For a woman diagnosed at 13 nearly 40 years ago and having worked with more progressive professionals than this app is setting you up to expect to encounter, the only thing I learned was from the intro video - apparently I can put my deep voice down to PCOS too. Look elsewhere for better guides and community experience to help you.

Trustworthy

This is a great app with high quality, accurate information thanks help women

Really helpful

The information in the app helped me understand what is happening with my body and why.

Unhelpful and judgie

I found the information very general and no more useful then information online.

I also found it judgemental when speaking about weight loss without giving full consideration to the difficulties women with PCOS can have losing weight.

Can’t open

App keeps crashing - can’t even open it? Looks like a great resource though if I could get in!

Response from developer

I am sorry to hear you had issues to access the app. We have created a new version of the app which is much easier to access and the evidence based information is available without having to create an account.

Unable to access

At one point I was able to access the app and it had a large amount of very helpful and informative information. For the past month, I haven’t been able to access due to a message stating unable to login and invalid email or password. When I delete the app, re-down and re-register I get a “ you have successfully created an account continues to login. I go to login and get caught I. The same loop. Invalid email or password. It’s too bad. The app has great potential but I’m moving on.

App crashing

The app doesn’t even open and it crashes within seconds if it does.

Response from developer

We have just released a new version of the app with updated evidence based information an the option to create a personal dashboard.

Unable to create account

I’ve contacted the developers twice (heard nothing back) and am still unable to create an account. I’ve heard great things about this resource but if it is not supported and maintained that is incredibly disappointing.

Can Not Register User error message

This app looks like it would be very helpful and was recommended to me by my health provider. However, the app itself seems to be buggy — I’ve downloaded it and tried several times to register as a user but keep getting the error message “Can Not Register User.” I have tried sending an email to the address listed on Monash’s Ask PCOS webpage but have received no response.

The resources on the webpage are helpful and make me want to see what more the app can offer, but the inability to access the app itself is disappointing.

Can’t create an account

I can’t create an account, please help!

Doesn’t even let you register!

Tried to register several times and the message just reads “cannot register user”. There’s no indication of what’s actually wrong or how you can correct it.

Rather basic

This app is easy to use and has key topics but is incredibly basic. If you don’t really know much about PCOS then it’s a great introduction. If you know a bit I’d say it’s not worth it.

Evidence based advice

So glad to get rid of the noise on this elusive syndrome and find evidence based data through this app where the information is designed to help me manage my PCOS. Love it. Highly recommended.

Very good resource

In this day and age when everyone has a smart device, an app like this is a bonus. I’ve read through the information and will definitely be directing my patients to install this app. Good job.

Requires an account

Looking through the feature set I can’t see any reason for requiring an account. Seems like an unnecessary obstacle and at worst, a privacy concern.

Can’t create an account

Won’t let me create an account 😭 , it says can not register user.

Response from developer

Sorry for our delayed response. There was a bug introduced by the third party library used in the App. The problem had been resolved within 48 hours since it was initially detected. You're more than welcome to revisit the App and start using it! Sincerely sorry for any inconvenience!

Brilliant resource for my patients

Fantastic resource for my patients and women with PCOS

Evidence base is highly reliable and content is terrific!

Very valuable information

I found it easy to set up an account. The app is comprehensive and the tool to generate questions to ask your doctor is very useful for patients.

Do not buy

Cannot create an account and the app support section when clicked states ‘page not found’
