Where has this been?!

I’ve been longing to learn asl but it’s so difficult to find a consistent way to grow my vocabulary

Update: I am so sad about the limit on free content. I thought it would be like Duolingo which offers many free lessons. I appreciate the dictionary and lack of ads but I really wish there was a way to grow my vocabulary without having to pay

Great

This is really fun and helpful but it keeps not loading exercises and it’s getting annoying
Edit: it’s fine now this app is great I definitely recommend this one

App has mistakes

I’m always looking for good ASL learning apps so I decided to do the free trial. Part way through the first lesson I’ve found multiple mistakes (saying the sign for “me/I” is “my” and writing “me to” when it should be “me too”).

You gotta pay

This is an amazing app but once you get passed the language part and on to the family part of you don’t pay it doesn’t let you continue so this is why I’m choosing to delete this app yes I understand having some things unavailable to those who don’t pay for it in the app but people shouldn’t be stopped completely in their tracks of learning a new language especially asl as it’s not enough people know how to sign and most sign language apps make you pay to learn while other language apps don’t make you pay they give you the option to continue learning with no pay just some things will be blocked like you’d have to pay to get more life’s if you go past a certain amount so then you’d have to wait an hour or two before refilling but no this app makes you pay to continue learning don’t get me wrong it’s a great app good teaching easy to understand but i don’t think it’s right that you can’t continue after a certain point if you don’t pay.

Wrong signs

Not only are they teach the wrong signs for the wrong words but they are also teaching the wrong format that you sign in or “speak” in. In the language.

Subscription is required

This is a great app and I have used many in the past year to learn but what I don’t like is that there is a subscription requirement after the first 3 lessons and in order to use the glossary. I wish this was similar to Duolingo where it is based on ads and users can get rewards to temporarily get access to the full content.

Good app

I love this app because I learned so much from it and I do the learning for 60 minutes also I learn 1200 words in sign language. I so happy I found this app to learn sign language for me.

Man muss Geld zahlen!

Die App ist zwar schön aufgebaut, aber nichts für jemanden, der kostenlos ASL lernen will. Nach den ersten zwei Lektionen muss man nämlich das Abo nehmen, sonst kann man nicht weiter lernen.
Das finde ich persönlich sehr frech, da jeder, egal ob mit oder ohne Geld, die Chance haben sollte eine Sprache zu lernen!

Otty ASL bietet mehrere kostenlose Lektionen sowie Zugriff auf Teile des Wörterbuchs, damit Nutzer einen Einstieg ins Lernen bekommen können. Zusätzlich gibt es eine 7-tägige kostenlose Testphase mit vollem Zugriff auf alle Inhalte. Gleichzeitig erfordert die kontinuierliche Entwicklung hochwertiger ASL-Lektionen ein kostenpflichtiges Abonnement. Wir schätzen deine Meinung sehr und nehmen sie in unsere weitere Verbesserung des Produkts mit auf.

Very good for asl!

Completely free and they teach you very well but each lesson is a little long (not over 5 minutes probably) but that doesn’t bother me because it helps me learn more ! >:3

Nice idea

I would have loved to use this app, but the price tag is way way out of my budget. I am a preK teacher and I barely make any money. I cannot afford the yearly or monthly plan in any way. Would have been awesome though because the app looks good..
