Best app for self defense knowledge. With a team of professional instructors that not only are knowledgeable but also have huge hearts for their fellow neighbors.
Great place to learn about self defense, gun safety, and have a great time doing it.
John & the entire team are top notch instructors, not to mention wonderful human beings. I’ve learned so much about being a good, sane, sober, moral, & prudent person from these guys.
Worth every penny.

Best collection of self-defense learning that you will ever find!
Your body cannot go where your mind has not been…. Not only are the daily videos great learning and reference on the skills we need as self-defenders but there’s a huge value in the extras like the full length classes, discussions with lawyers (John’s Briefs), and training from nationally known and respected instructors. It’s well worth the small price to pay to have this wealth of knowledge at your fingertips!

I open the app daily because I know I’m going to get a lesson, review, or skill check that is going to help me. The amount of work that must go into to providing the daily content provided by ASP is a lot, and I’m grateful for all they’re doing
Tons of valuable information in one place
I really appreciate all the great information provided in this app. There are hundreds of hours of high quality training available in the app. The daily content keeps me coming back everyday and the lack of ads or censorship keeps me there.
The monthly drills keep my skills sharp and there is a great sense of community in forums.

Best money I pay every year!!!! The full length lessons are 100 times the cost of this app if you had the money to go to all of them and time. That is just one reason there a few more life values plus, that are priceless.

I’m not sure how to even write an adequate review. I say that because the people at the helm of ASP are some of the best humans I know. Not only am I a better defender of my my life and my family’s lives, I am a better person in general. The app is a game changer. I don’t know of any other place you can get literally days and days of free training, or at least for the price of the app. The amount of training that is offered on the app is easily worth tens of thousands of dollars. Great product from great people. It’s a no brainer!

Educational content
The regular add free content is nice. What I really appreciate is that most of the claims made within various videos will cite their sources, so if I’m unsure about their conclusion I can dig a little deeper to understand their perspective. I also appreciate that most of the videos have a very respectful attitude towards people/opinions they disagree with.
I highly recommend giving it a try.

Great Training and Practical Content
ASP Unlimited has been a great resources to continuing to learn and improve. I really enjoy the training videos, Dryfire Workshop, and exclusive content. There’s always something useful to watch or practice, and I’ve definitely gotten a tone of value out of my membership!
Great info/life lessons
Mountain of information here. The app only lessons pay for themselves here with the added bonus of it’s not impacting your YouTube feeds. Love the daily notice for the new videos that we get early as members. Community is great to boot.
Best community
I got this app after watching them for years and taking one of their classes in 2024. They provide good evidence based lessons and have an awesome community that strive to actually help others trying to learn. They have full length classes and seminars available and 3 lives a week that will help you in your shooting and everyday life. It’s definitely worth it and it’s improved not just my shooting but my mental mindset on training and how I deal with life.

Best Use of Force App
Speaking as a retired police officer and ASP subscriber, I will say this is the absolute best app (and YT channel) I have found regarding use of force education.
They provide an unparalleled, research-backed blend of tactical and legal analysis, coupled with often overlooked common sense advice on how to avoid use of force situations to begin with.

The app has access to a ton of research backed information from accredited professionals. I really love the weekly events that are fun and educational. The monthly drills are great too. Then there is the commercial free breakdowns and lessons learned from real world defensive encounters, the library of related educational and training course material that come along with it. Love the app, love the community, and especially love the knowledge and growth at the heart of it all.

Excellent App
Best app ever! Not only no censoring, but everything in one place and I installed the app on my tvs so I can watch videos easier when at home. Top notch info that can’t be found anywhere else.
Great info
Love the content, thank you for creating an all in one space for it! App runs really smooth and is simple. It does appear you can’t read comments in landscape on iPad; but vertical seems just fine.
