Everything you could’ve hoped for in an app like this...but it’s over
I am updating my review due to the lack of updates for 2 years. I love this app and have since I first got it. However it has been over 2 years since they last updated it (as of 2/16/2026). At this point I don’t recommend getting this app, even if they were to update it because there’s no guarantee they would continue. Just use shemetwister instead.

Not a bad app but missing…
Needs the Weapon X expansion as well as any others not listed. I just purchased the Weapon X expansion and would like you use this app with it.
Great app, not updated with recent expansions
This app would be perfect if the developer had continued to update it with recent expansions from the game. Unfortunately, the only option you are left with now is to add the new content as custom cards, one at a time. It’s a good app, I paid for it, I’m happy to have paid for it. I just wish the developer had continued to support it.

Sadly it’s dead
Was a great app to use for randomization of one of the best deckbuilding boardgames ever made. Sadly, it appears the creator has abandoned this app, many new expansions not included reduce the functionality dramatically. Use the Schemetwister website instead.

The Break The Planet Asunder scheme is currently bugged, the number of schemes and number of heroes are swapped.

Bought the app, fails to save or load or recognize purchase
I bought this app many moons ago. I would load my expansions and custom decks and it would not save them. I finally got them to save, then I got a new IPad. App saved data won’t transfer, 600 saved custom cards won’t transfer and now, my purchase is NOT recognized on either iPad. Love the app but it just doesn’t work like it’s advertised. Very disappointed. I don’t want a refund, I want my purchase recognized and saved data clouded to my new iPad.

Marvel Legendary App , great setup app for the game
I really appreciate an app like this that helps randomize a setup on such an awesome game. It’s by far one of my favourite board games. This app is really useful on how to help setup a unique game that you probably never experienced before. Keep up the updates for the expansions 😊 Marvel Legendary is super fun

They were updating it with the newer expansions quicker than they have over the previous 2 years, but they haven’t updated it for 9 months (as of 6/4/2024). Once they add the newest expansions to get everything back up to date then I will raise my rating back to 5.

Great app!
This is a great app and I use it a lot when playing Legendary.
I would like to make a couple of suggestions to mildly improve it. (At least for me)
1) Making expansions sortable by release date and alphabetically.
2) An option to save in my collection so that you can reset to it.
3) A search bar in the keyword reference so you don’t have to search through the whole list. Or better still if you could see a list of keywords based on what has been selected in your randomised game.
As previously mentioned I do love this app, I personally think these changes might elevate it even more.

Please add Marvel Studios What If…?
App is wonderful. I have used it for years. The other Legendary randomizes I used to use are not updated anymore. I would give this a full 5-star rating but I really want it to be updated with the new What If…? set and I don’t know how else to Message the developer. It’s been out for quite a few months.

Great App! When does it get updated for new expansions?
Love this app and I am very grateful it exists as it provides a fun way to easily review heroes, villains, henchman, schemes and masterminds.
The ability to randomize game set ups by the amount of people playing and the difficulty you want to play at is wonderful.
My one question is, how often do we need to wait for the app to receive an update containing new expansions? Would really love to see the cards from Midnight Suns get added to the app so I can start using them in my set ups.

Great app, one suggestion
I love this app, great stuff, even paid for the ad free since I use it so much. One suggestion I have is it should have an option where, after the app chooses a mastermind, it’d be cool if it checked if the mastermind had an epic version and randomized if it’s epic or not. If you do that it’s an easy 5 stars.

It makes it super easy to setup and play Legendary! Love the randomize option and expansion selections. When will the Black Panther expansion be added?
