Wow! It’s been so much fun.
My 18 month old granddaughter is not allowed on social media, but she was just blown away. Best video ever! Got better reviews from her than fireworks. That alone was worth every penny. The staff was great and it was done incredibly well and very quickly. We are still playing with it. Neighbors are checking it out, too

So far with minimal use, the app is working good. Lots of features and options.
great lights horrible app
the app constantly crashes, won’t let you login and then after multiple attempts to login the app tells you that you have logged in too many times today and you never logged in. the light colors don’t match and you can’t save your favorite pattern and color to the timer. so when you do finally get logged in and it doesn’t crash and after you get the color and pattern saved you still have to switch it to what u want when it comes on. again the lights look great but the app definitely need some improvements.

New App Awful
This updated app is definitely a major disappointment. Bring back the previous app.
Location based needs changing
Overall a good app. But when your phone location isn’t home location. The timer for sunrise and sunset gets messed up. There needs to be option for setting lights location. Not base it on phone location.
The new app is not our favorite
I know it will take a while to improve the app but there are not enough options. We don’t want to have to make our own lights set up for our favorite sports team like we used to have on the previous app. We still love our lights but we don’t love the app.
Use Claude code
Please think about the user experience a bit more. Like don’t take up half the screen with a picture of a house that does nothing. Done delete all my favorites when releasing a new version. Make it more intuitive to create new scenes and test them out. Make it easy to copy and rename. User experience needs refinement. Claude code design could help you a lot.

Quality app
Lots of features, lots of patterns, and very customizable. Can time the lights to music! I like to use one of their patterns and adjust it to exactly what I want. Great service too.
Amazing!
So glad we finally decided to get outdoor lighting! I read lots of reviews from other companies and ended up going with Astoria! We absolutely love the way they give our house a totally different look. There are so many color options to choose from. I change the program about every 2 weeks, it’s so fun. If you’re considering adding outdoor lights, I definitely recommend Astoria!

Great Lighting and Service
After receiving quotes and visiting installations from three vendors in our area I chose to go with Astoria. Quotes were all within 2% of each other, but when we looked at reference properties the Astoria installations were our preference. From the quote process through the installation everyone involved was professional, knowledgeable, and customer focused. I’ll note that I do have occasional issues with the app but tech support is easy to contact and quick to resolve. Overall a great experience.

Update broke some things
Update February 2026 lost my saved patterns that I was using daily and changed the functionally for the worse. What is the thinking behind this?
Lost patterns after the update
I was using the Christmas star pattern as my daily lights. It is no longer available and many others are missing
Solid app, love the lights
The app lets you configure custom patterns, control individual lights, use preset animations and even build your own. I set up timers for the different holidays and now I mostly only use it during Christmas season to let my kids pick out a “pattern of the night”.
