Astra Rider

Astra Rider lets Astra Care riders follow their non-emergency medical transportation trips in real time, from a scheduled pickup through drop-off. Access requires an Astra Care rider account, and trips are scheduled by Astra Care. You sign in with your phone number and a personal PIN, and first-time users verify their date of birth and create a PIN. Once signed in, you can see your upcoming and past trips in one place and open any trip to view its status, your driver, level of service, pickup and drop-off addresses, and scheduled times. While a trip is underway you can watch your driver's location move on the map as they approach, see the route and an estimated time of arrival, and get live status updates as the driver starts the trip, arrives, and completes it. An ongoing notification keeps the current ETA visible while your trip is in progress. You can cancel an upcoming scheduled trip from the app up to one hour before pickup, and rate your ride with a star rating and an optional comment after it is completed. You can call your driver from the trip screen or message them through in-app chat, and you are notified when a driver is assigned and when your trip starts, is cancelled, or is marked as a no-show, with every alert kept on a dedicated notifications page. You can set a profile photo, and light, dark, and system themes are supported. Astra Rider is intended for authorized Astra Care riders only.
