Iโm in China, so I need a VPN all the time. When Astrill works, it works. When it doesnโt, it doesnโt. No recognizable pattern to when it will or wonโt.

There is no ping test and speed test, as in the Mac version of the app. So it is hard to tell which server is available. It is sometimes very frustrating not be able to find one working. And the server list is different between the Mac and the iOS version
Great service, terrible app
This VPN works when others donโt and is a great VPN service. However, the app is clunky, outdated, and lacks features (eg speed test) and settings (eg site filtering) that the desktop app has. Additionally, the VPN regularly gets โstuckโ on and canโt be turned off either in the app or the iOS VPN screen. The only way to get it off when this happens is to turn off data and WiFi, then itโll give an error that turns the VPN off.
Given how expensive the VPN service is, I expect a better app.
