iPhone 17 Pro Max - app crashes
App keeps crashing when trying to access storage connected to the router. Apparently you can only use this app on one phone per household router because it works fine on my other iphone which is a 14 Pro Max.

Being a REAL computer programmer for 45+ years Other users don’t understand what this app is really doing for them, thus their negative comments. I’ve installed this app and been using it for a short time and have found it with a lot of useful features. Please keep up the GOOD work. Asus is my only and best routers!

Unreliable
Unable to upload file/album. Can’t even “Clear All Completed Tasks” - The simplest, no connection needed, task
Cannot use Transfer File in secondary accounts
I have been trying all the tricks I can find in the internet to use this app in a secondary account ( another member of my family) to transfer files from their phone to the USB drive in the router. Unless I log in the app as the admin, the 3 dots needed to upload files are missing. There is no point in having a secondary account with access permission if it cannot use the upload feature. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Unavailable upload files
I use iphone. This app cant access to photos or videos to upload its.
Uploading issues
I would give this a 5 stars. But there with the app. I can see the drive and folders. However, I am unable to save anything to it. It doesn’t give me the options. On the desktop I have this problem.
Broken
Unable to upload images with the latest update. Probably won’t be fixed since it was last updated years ago.
Junk!
No longer connects to the router. It correctly identifies the router and the AiCloud name. But, never connects. States that the router is offline.
Not connecting to main router
It used to work before. Now it can’t connect and keeps saying that the router is offline.
I can’t get the app to work
Even despite following ASUS’s directions on setting up AiCloud 2.0, I can’t even log into my system.
Streaming my movies from my home server
Tested the SMB share feature with my NAS. Download the Oplayer app or video will be very jerky even if you download the file to your phone/device, unless you choose to play the downloaded file with an external player (VLC is what I used). If you just stream it then you will need the Oplayer app, I recommend lite. I was also able to wake on lan using the tools in the app. I wish I would have looked at this feature sooner. I am on the latest firmware as of 11/15/22.

Asus AiCloud is the worst app never seen on the world of app, took me 7 days struggling to connect my USB drive remotely, l have spent many sleepless day and night looking for way to remotely access my USB which is connected to router and nothing worked, if Asus is promoting their own web cloud storage then should remove that option from router rather than giving users headache and troubles.. l really warn whoever want to use AiCloud remote to brace for impact.. waste of time..

Unimpressive compared to before!
I have been a faithful ASUS purchaser and fan for over 20 years now but my loyalty is waning due to the fact that their App’s just are not cutting it anymore! This App immediately closes when selecting the file or device that you want to open. That renders it useless and teases you because you can see what you want to access on your router but there is no way to get to it. Please fix this because I really don’t want to choose another brand of router after all of these years because I can not manage my router as well as I would like to?!?!

When the app isn’t crashing it works great

I followed the instructions and couldn’t get this app to work remotely. After the developer responded to my 1 star review I decided I’d seek support. There unfortunately are multiple avenues to get support (I say unfortunately because I wonder if they all work). I tried 3 different avenues to get support from Asus. Someone did respond (I’m not sure which avenue worked?) and informed me the AiCloud web access port had to change from 443 to any number in the range 1025 to 65535. It now works! Maybe this is super obvious to an IT person, but it is not to us mere mortals. Surely this could be automated, included in the instructions or suggested in some troubleshooting guide?
I’ve changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars for providing support. I can’t give more because it was just so painful and time consuming to get it to work.

You guys have to update this app! It’s soo old, and it doesn’t even connect to the Files app in the latest iOS releases that’s been there for AGES! Please bring it to the 21st century
Can’t pick my favorite video player
I’m using iPhone and iPad. A lot of old video files can not be played by the built-in player. Then it shows only 3 options: 1.download, 2.install glayer, 3. Install aceplayer. It’s unacceptable to download and aceplayer is not available. Gplayer doesn’t work either.
There is no other choice and therefore it is useless for me.
Why can it give me an option to use my favorite player ?

Could not log into any machine on the network for file sharing. Tried Apple, Windows, Linux. None!
