Great App

Works, great, fast and reliably. I recommend it!!!

Amazing App I highly recommend this application if you have a Asus router!

This application works flawlessly, I am so thankful for this app, it makes all of my media content accessible on all of my devices, while having it Very organized in a streamline way! I highly recommend this app if you have a ASUS Router! Thank you to the developers 💚🙂

Can't setup music streaming

It seems you have to connect to the default network said of asus pr-n53 to setup e music stream. However, the pr-n53 is a network extender. We need to extend the existing network and use different SSID.
Very poor designed app.

Great in theory, terrible in practice

This app could have been pretty sweet. Hook up your hard drive to an Asus router and away you go accessing video, music and pictures. In practice it cannot do anything. Mov video files and jpeg pictures give me an error message selecting a player. What format was Asus expecting on an iPhone? If it was updated to play anything at all, I would probably give it more stars. As it stands, the app is effectively useless.

Aiplayer does not support background refresh

The app stops playing and loose connection with the player after the iPad screen sleeps.

Find a better one

App won't control Asus cube via Asus router. No issues with the LG smart tv accessing media on the Asus router...

Offline

After the last update I'm unable play items I downloaded to my iPhone, keeps asking for internet connection. Idea is to play offline mode such as airplane journeys.

Love it!

Work like a charm with my Chromecast TV stick to play my video from my NAS and USB drive attached to my Asus Router!

Ok but needs improvement

When using on iPhone it works fine but this should cross platform to aicloud nothing you download via aicloud can be played via aiplayer only your original iPhone library aicloud doesn't put downloads too iPhone library so in aiplayer you can't just play what you've downloaded. Definitely needs improvement.

Limited, frustrating

It works alright for listening to listening to or watching various file formats stored on a connected hard drive to your ASUS router, but only a few file formats are supported.

The rest offer to "select media player" when tapping it then don't offer any options. Settings has an FAQ for one piece of hardware that doesn't relate to the software and probably not your router. There isn't a way to provide media players to add to the list either.

Some movies and some music works, but not all. It should offer to hide unplayable formats.

Doesn't work...

Displays error message that there is no media player to play...

Works so Far, one little issue

Just downloaded the new version and it appears to work. Seems as though they have fixed the crash issue. One main problem, they need to let you change the default display options when browsing your library. Genre defaults to artist and that is a useless identifier if you have a lot of classical music.

Edit-now it wont display any folders. Awesome

Useless

It crashes every time you try to setup it up with the player. Honestly it was a waste of time.

Crashes, can't use it all iPhone 5S

I was really looking forward to using this feature. The first RP-N53 I bought was faulty and the 5GHz wifi just died on it. Now I have a replacement up and running and aiplayer can't stay open for more than 5 sec.

I own a lot of Asus equipment (router, laptop, monitor) and this is the first time I've ever been disappointed! Looking forward to a fix.

Doesn't Work

Come on, ASUS - you know this app has not worked for months now. You guys generally have a good reputation for your hardware. How about expediting and getting this thing working? When I click on the repeater icon in the iPad app, the thing just crashes. Also, the app does not size or rotate with the iPad - do you think you might have wanted to add the gyro capabilities to this app when you FIRST created it? What's the matter with you people? It's a repeating train wreck! Fix the goddam thing already.

Completely and utterly useless.
Crashes without fail every time on iPhone 4S and two iPads.
Don't waste your time.
