I REALLY DON’T LIKE THIS APP
I really don’t like this app, it makes me want to throw my phone across the room. I genuinely don’t even want to use my phone anymore. AT&T y’all played for real.

listen, i’m a kid. i know that most teens need a screentime, probably including myself, and also monitoring. however, this app is NOT the way. Completely blocking your child’s internet access at night sounds good in theory, but what happens if there’s an emergency? You can’t even use google. Sometimes it blocks searches in the daytime, so god forbid they have to search up a hotline while they’re home alone. God forbid you’re choking and they need to search up how to do the Heimlich maneuver on you past their bedtime. There are also practical issues that I’ve encountered. They won’t be able to. I just spent 7 minutes trying to search up breakfast recipes. I tried four different browsers, restarting the app, restarting my phone, reloading the page, giving new wordings. I still don’t have my breakfast recipe and it’s not past my bedtime. This isn’t even the only time this has happened. I tried to search up the lymphatic system and it blocked my search. Same with how to do a pull up. I can’t search for an egg recipe on youtube. Hell, even my PERIOD TRACKER app, even the planet fitness app, is not loading, even when i’m supposed to have internet access in the daytime. I tried sending a message in my family whatsapp group 4 hours ago, and it still has not sent. I can no longer connect to my home wifi, and i am forced to use only cellular data about 90% of the time because the VPN messes with the wifi signal. I have to do my homework in the basement, as my school issued iPad that used to connect to my hotspot (which no longer works because the VPN messes with it), only works when in the same room as the wifi router located in the basement. I used to be able to fall asleep quickly while listening to classical music, but because of my bedtime, even music doesn’t load past 10PM. I understand wanting to set a screentime for your kid. I really do. But this is just not the way.

Umm I’m prolly gon get beat but idc. Js delete the app and u get full access ta ur internet. It’s that simple unless u care about getting in trouble but I don’t. Have a nice night on ur phone baddies🫶🫶

This is coming from a child. This app is totally invasive. If you delete it I think it sends a notification to your parents. It has all your app data. Any new app you wanna download in my case it was PolyBuzz, it only works sometimes other times it doesn’t. It affects your WiFi and you can’t even turn off the vpn. You have no privacy at all

I have no regrets buying this in any way!!!! My daughter got mad so I banned her phone iPad and Apple Watch. She grabbed the apple shredder from the kitchen and told me “ this is now called the human shredder “i did not know what she ment by that but she went up to her room and I think she found something she really liked to do!! She likes to put ketchup all over the room, I think because there is a bunch under the door, she won’t let me come in, the door is locked, she had not come out in 5 days but she is doing really well!! (I think..)

I have no regrets downloading this! I banned all devices from my son and he found a new hobby! He took the biggest knife we have at home and bring it to his room The door is somehow locked and he won't get out and somehow ketchup is leaking under the door and he didn't get out after waiting 2 days I think he is making something that takes alot of time but he is still ok and doing great i believe!

It works perfectly. My daughter stopped using her phone and said she was going to meet up with friends! I was absolutely thrilled! She even mentioned they were going to have a picnic. She hasn't come home for the day yet, but that might be because she went to a friend's place for a sleepover? 😁 Either way, I'm very happy with the app! It's great that my daughter has finally found company outside the online world; after all, she has so much life ahead of her

What a way to destroy a relationship
Let me start by saying I’m not a parent. Now let me go into how this makes me feel completely violated on all terms. A teen I should be able to have more control over what I do, and yet this app limits everything. It makes me feel less like a teen and more like a child being babysat by my parents. Personally, I think I speak for all kids/teens when I say this app holds a fast-track ticket to distant relationships.

Use alternatives
This app sucks, don’t download!! It messes with your VPN connection and slows down your WI-FI. If you want to track your kids location just use Life 360. As for screen time just use the screen time limits in settings. No need for this app, DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!
Horrible App
This thing is restricting Safari (I cannot use it for more than a minute a day) and I can’t play games, watch videos, I can’t even text or call people past 9pm. For multiple days this thing was even restricting PHOTOS. Also if I don’t have someone’s phone number saved in my contacts, it blocks me from messaging the person (same with emergency services numbers, it won’t allow me to call the police) this app is harming my social life and online life, I can’t even talk to my friends without feeling insecure now, “Secure Family” is ironic because this app makes me feel more insecure about myself. This app has 1.2 stars for a reason.

This app is horrible, my mother downloaded it on my phone and I had to uninstall it just so I can open my text app, I was forced to reinstall it all because it’s cheaper than life 360. It ruins data, the phone is more glitchy than usual and my WiFi keeps randomly going out. Do not buy it <3

VPN
I don’t really like this app because it requires a VPN and the last control app my father put on my phone also required a VPN and I couldn’t use any of my apps it would be as if i was offline even at home. If that could be fixed I would love this app.

Horrible app.Ruined my rls with my mom because of trust.This app made me feel like she is all on me with cameras watching my every single move.She doesn't realize it but this app is horrible and genuinely made me hate being around her.She thinks it's "protecting" me but it's just making things worse.Also your internet goes off and doesnt allow you too Google stuff or anything.APP SUCKS DONT DOWNLOAD.
