Foolish Do Loop
App is horribly designed. Impossible to log in … any and all numbers lead to phone number is already in file, so it’s impossible to log in. The forgot password sends you back to “register”… which then rejects you as the phone number is already on file.
Notifications missing?
I deleted the app then reinstalled it to attempt to remedy the issue (only w this app Verz Fam” app).
My other apps have the badges.
No notifications, I’ll go into the app > chat/call tab, and I’ll see that my son texted me but the app notifications (I have it turned on, on my phone!
It maybe an Apple software issue?! I am up to date w all!
This is for my special needs son, I did ask him to “not” text me, but just to call me - if I’m in the middle of something I’ll at least see on my phone. Where as the app does (normally) have that red badge!
Inter than that, I’m pretty happy w the app.
SUGGESTION:
I’d love to see “phone/text” button as soon as the app is open and a tad bigger (for us old people).
CONS:
I don’t need to see “me” on the map, how do I remove me?
GizmoHub had a simpler interface and clean! Unlike this current.
I do not like the “ads” can I remove them!

Gizmo app was much better
I had to switch over to this app from the gizmo app. The number of taps I have to do to read a message from my kids or message my kids is ridiculous. There is no reason that in 2026 that this app is not streamlined and simple for parents to communicate with their kids. I used to tell people that gizmo watches were the perfect solution for our family. Now I would say get a different brand solely due to this terrible app.

Prepare Yourself Mentally
Perhaps one of the most frustrating apps I have ever experienced.
There is something wrong with the login. It just goes through an endless loop of security questions.
I had it working last week and it was ok. The interface wasn’t that intuitive and the display I thought looked clunky.
I’m trying to switch the account over for a gizmo. That app wasn’t great but looks amazing compared to this.
I recall having better experiences with Verizon in the past. If you are thinking of buying a gizmo, save yourself some brain melt and just get the apple watch.

Awful for Gizmo watch
Doesn’t link to Gizmo watch even though they’ve forced me to do so. Tech support is unhelpful, as usual for Verizon.
