Blocks doctor and family calls
This app blocks EVERY call from every single one of my doctors’ offices and calls from my pharmacy too!! It also blocks calls from my grandparents’ landline and my sister’s cell and my dog’s vet! I don’t understand why it blocks calls from saved contacts and calls clearly identified as “Healthcare.” I have reported all of these numbers as “Not Spam” repeatedly, to no avail, they still get blocked, and every one of them is saved in my contacts as well.

Worthless Junk
I have filtering plus which I pay 3.99 a month for. I have it set at the most aggressive setting. Yet more calls slip through then are blocked. In fact, today there were 10 calls that slipped through and left messages. Whats worse is Verizon Call Filter insights shows I received zero spam calls for the day. Worthless. What am I paying for ?!
Update 9/9/26:
After I write this reviews the Verizon Call Filter product team emailed me to “help”. They gave general trouble shooting responses. After they determined my settings were correct they have left me for dead. I have emailed them screen shots of every call I have received. 53 emailed in 2 weeks Verizon call filter has filtered ZERO percent of spam calls so far 9 days in to September. I have received over 35 spam calls in 9 days. ZERO have been filtered. No responses from the product team. But they are gladly taking $3.99 a month from me. I will be escalating to their corporate office and filing FTC and BBB complaints.

Blocks Legitimate Contacts
This app silently sends legitimate business contacts to voicemail without warning or notification. If you want to miss important timely medical and financial calls, this is the app for you. Funny enough, it’s not even good at blocking spam calls on the highest risk settings.
Issues with it saying app can’t retrieve.
The app is saying that the server is not working and can’t retrieve names. The app has been like this for a month or so. I have even tried to uninstall and reinstall with no success. I am paying 3.99 a month for something that is not work correctly.
Broken
The app isn’t working. Insists I download protect. Won’t function properly.
