Unless you are an Ethiopian student or teacher, this is likely an unusable app. As of 4/29/2021, I think Atala PRISM has only been deployed for use by the Ethiopian Gov’t for students and teachers within Ethiopia. I’m confident this is a great tool, but it might be several years before it is usable for US citizens.
Friends at IOG— please include relevant info in the app description about locations in which Atala PRISM is currently deployed. It’s slightly irritating (more than slightly for some) to go through the process of downloading the app, writing down the seed phrase, then trying to scan various credentials only to figure out that the Atala Prism app does not yet work and accounts cannot be deleted. If the app is currently usable in the US, please include instructions re ID types and app limitations. It did not work with my US passport (issued in 2020) or state issued DL. Also, there should be an option to permanently delete an account in addition to resetting data.

Love the intent but have suggestion for UI
I’m a Cardano supporter and love the intent of the app. I went through the entire experience (the one is available atm) and have suggestions.
1. It was very confusing to see the “Notification” page displayed when I tap the QR code button. When I tap QR code button, I expect to see camera and not notification. Notification should have its own button with an indicator to clarify how many unread notifications I have.
2. Also, it took a while that I had to “View” the notification to grant access to my ID. When I see “View” button, I would expect it to be an optional action and not something that is mandated to grant access. Suggestion is to change the button label from “View” to “Approve” so it is clear what the button would mean.

Does not work!
Just downloaded this app and then deleted it because it started to take up a lot of space and doesn’t work. My phone was running slower after downloading. Now that I’ve deleted this app my phone is working again.
Should be useful in the future
IOHK (IOG) does tremendous work.
