A step backwards
Poor gameplay, clunky way to give instructions to aircraft. A step backwards from previous version.
Won’t climb fast enough
My only complaint is that I have to have planes fly a 360 degree turn to gain enough altitude to hand off to ctr. Message keeps popping up asking why the airplane is taking so long to climb to elevation.

I am using the iOS version. My username wasn’t transferable from the previous app due to a change in username formatting rules.
UI is better than the previous ATC4Real.
Ads pop up at the wrong times (eg. when you’re about to view the contents of a black box following a crash, then it’s lost forever) and hang around way too long.
Control towers still seem to be incompetent. (Clearing aircraft to takeoff, while another is landing, which now results in aircraft that have to go around running out of fuel and crashing.)
Speed and altitude restrictions are worse than the previous version and do not allow for the fact that all commands by the controller have to be issued through the UI rather than verbally, which takes longer.
Emergencies do not show up on radar, so the first you know of an emergency is when you get penalised for not responding to it!
If you accidentally touch the edge of the screen and your phone’s notification/control panel screen begins to swipe in the game auto pauses AND penalises you for it.
Come on … these are all bugs that should’ve been fixed in a beta version.

Way too many crashes
The game crashes way way too much it can use some more work!
Glitch with the Strip
Love the game but there seems to be a glitch in the latest update. The strip will say something like MTBAL > PIAAZ for a departure but when I direct the plane to that route, it says it’s not trying to go that way. I’ll allow it to go to another waypoint but then Center won’t accept it because it’s the “wrong” altitude, even though it’s correct for the waypoint the plane was flying. Sounds like a discrepancy between the pilot and the flight plan :)
