Very close to a perfect game
I have spent hours on this game and had lots of fun with it. The graphics and UI is incredible. However, if it had these two features, I would never put it down.
1) Save position of planes when closing out the airport. One clunky part of this game is that every time you start at an airport, all planes in the queue to takeoff and all planes taxiing to their gates get reset. I find that this becomes a slow ramp up, then crazy, then quick ramp down as you work through all the arrivals. Saving aircraft positions or continuing “dummy” operations in the background without points would make this much better.
2) Focus less on gate operations or add a gate management team, similar to how there are existing air traffic controllers. Adding a gate agent to each gate is very difficult at large airports like IAD. A more expensive gate management team would allow me to focus on actual aircraft control operations.
3) reach goal: I would personally love to handle taxi operations, but I think that would be too difficult at large airports like IAD.
