The font is too small
Okay, I know I’m old, but I have kids whose comp soccer team use this app for everything. There is no way to change the font size of this app, and the standard font is about half of what I’m seeing the font as I write this review. Whenever a notification pops up, I have to go chase down my readers or I can’t see a thing. I do have bigger fonts as standard on my phone so I can read most other apps quickly. But this one has caused me to miss things as I get the notification, open it up, realize I can’t see it still, go to find some readers and get interrupted by a kid, then forget to come back.

Frustrating app to use.
I don’t have mouth hair left but this app is going to cause me to lose what’s left.
I have multiple kids in travel soccer and help manage two different teams across them. UNFORTUNATELY one of the leagues we play forces the use of this app, and let me tell you, there’s user friendly, user unfriendly, and then their is straight belligerent. This app is the third one.
I recently was notified on my phone that “a college coach viewed my profile”. Quite cool as two of my kids are in high school. So which one? After 30 minutes of chasing this rabbit I still can’t tell you. I CAN tell you that if I pay them $240/year I MIGHT be able to find out. So that notification was apparently an AD. Good job AthleteOne! Way to find a workaround on the Apple Store.
I had to give it 2 stars versus just 2 because for set tasks they are accomplishable via this app. But don’t expect the process to be quick or efficient. Be prepared to lose some hair.

Very Unreliable
This app is very frustrating. It shows notifications but when you go into the app, there’s nothing. Now when I try and get into the communication for one of the team chats, it crashes the app every time. There’s a lot of work needed to make this a serviceable app. As a parent, it’s very frustrating that this app is being used by my son’s club.

Very Poor
I have used several different apps for my kids teams and this is by far the worst. Seriously, I have used free versions of 'team' apps that are 100% better than this app.
In my opinion the schedule is the most important feature of this type of app. With multiple kids in all kinds of activities the ability to have those schedules integrate into a Google calendar is key. This app allows you to copy the link to add the team calendar but doesn't actually show any events.
When trying to use the app directly you can view events by day. This is pointless. I don't want to click through every day to see what is coming up.
Our team doesn't use it for communication at all which makes me wonder if that feature actually even works.
Fix these issues and I will give 5 stars.
