I don’t usually write app reviews, but did here as Atlantic doesn’t have many so far. I was nervous using Atlantic at first, but exchanged a little money as a test: all good, they offer exactly what they say do. Their rates are excellent so I would highly recommend them over e.g. Wise for large transfers.

Easy to set up and use, great exchange rates with low transfer cost. Portals make it simple to transfer money in with instant acknowledgment via app & email.

Fantastic way to send money abroad!
Atlantic Money is by far the cheapest way to send any sums above £800 abroad. The fee is only £3 for the 2 day service, or £15 for express service. It’s a really simple process, where you transfer funds to Atlantic, who then forward it onto your recipient. I’ve saved £100s over using Wise or Revolut sending larger amounts. Atlantic have great customer service too, and have always responded to my emails very quickly. Highly, highly recommended. I’m very glad I discovered Atlantic!

Very low cost transfers.
They don’t accept CHAPS payments. I sent one to my portal and they weren’t all that helpful returning my payment, but did send it back in the end. This means you have to break large transfers into smaller chunks which is a hassle and you pay higher fees.
