Yay!
this was my favorite game before it got revamped and now that it’s a new improved game, I’m so happy
An hidden gem
As an aromas player ! This rework is a huge improvement ! The graphics are good while not being too overwhelming, the game is complete, with around 20 items, 10+ different operators, all balanced and making the game challenging. And don’t get me started on the gameplay… The idea of different phases and debuffs is really good, so add this with some deck building makes a great game gameplay: every game is different. There are lots of little details too.
I really love this game, and I hope there will be some new content added in the future, such as new modes.

Everything I Want From A Sequel
I played the original for SO long, this provided even more content and better visuals, music, everything!
AI slop
I’m a big fan of original Atomas and the graphic was much more clean and understandable. This version is extremely hard to read due to unnecessary hi-fidelity designs. Just awful design, I’m sorry. I’ll continue enjoying Atomas ORIGINAL!
Love but found some bugs
This game is a 10/10 in my book, adding lots of fun and depth to the og atomas I have been playing for the last 5+ years
Welllll worth the $$$!!!
I’ve been playing this game for a few days, I found some bugs that would be sweet to see resolved, as well as some feature requests!
Mostly just thoughts for the dev, the core game is still a blast and with it for other readers :)
Bugs (on iPhone 17):
1: Max score bug - I got a video of the math breaking posted in the r/atomas subreddit - using polymerization, I was able to get the molecules on my largest atom to the e18 range, but my max score was capped around the 3e11 range (with each fusion giving a max of ~2e9)
In addition, my max score was able to go down after a fusion, I assume for the same reason
2: molecules text - also in the video above, the text for the molecules sometimes becomes hidden, and may or may not return after a fusion
In addition, the text may overlap with other atom’s molecules text with such large numbers - could be resolved using the scientific notation when the numbers are large enough
3: swap operator bug - I used a swap operator after having cleared the field with a delete operator, and it stayed on the field (okay) - however, once I added one and then two atoms on the field, the swap operator remained, and never triggered again - I was only able to remove it with a delete/minus operator
4: minor text bug - the polymerization text is long enough that it overhangs the box on the “modifier overview screen” or whatever it’s called
Feature requests (nothing major but for polishing!):
1: option to change the animation speed to faster / slower (I find once I’m in the zone it’s a little slow)
2: ability to toggle settings while in a game (sound mute etc)
3: tutorial: show how the reset button works (the top right time travel button) in the tutorial - also better explanation of the tools and counters (was unclear that I could use a tool more than once from tutorial)
4: show the counters for the tools in the tool selection view (unsure what the counters are until having used one)
5: when adding an atom back to the field with the time/clock tool (the tool that allows you to hold an atom), it “feels” like there is an unnecessary extra click needed to press the middle instead of the atom just popping straight to the middle
6: progression : having played atomas 1, on my first play through of neo I was able to unlock all of the tools - I think it would be more rewarding if the unlocks for the tools were gated by getting to the required score “with” the previous tool
I.e. trashcan tool unlocks after reaching 10k points “with” the scissors tool
This forces you to try each tool in the progression to unlock all of them!
7: more / harder game modes!
The difficulty increase while progressing the levels is super fun (the sleeping atoms etc), it would be fun to have a game mode where all of the negative effects stack requiring more precision to stay alive
Also more game modes in general!
8: better explanation for the global 2x score multiplier - how do you trigger 3 fusions in one move? Is that just a fusion with 6 atoms? Or 3x dark + triggering in the same move
Also, would be sweet to see the global multiplier on the screen if you are able to trigger this (not sure if it does this or not)
Thanks for making this great game! Mostly just minor things for polishing!

Veteran who loves the sequel
Played the first game for ten years, best puzzle time killer I’ve encountered. The sequel is more engaging and strategic, which makes it more fun. My only wish is snappier animations/ let me move at the pace of my button presses and skip thru the animations. The OG game felt a bit faster than this one. Still, amazing game.

Great visual and gameplay overhaul but needs development
I've had Atomas on my phone for ages as a fun time-waster on flights and whatnot, so seeing that there's a new version is a welcome suprise. I have been having a lot of fun running up my high score and finding powerful combos to maximize molecule generation. Overall, the experience has been great, but the breadth of content is quite narrow. Once you reach a certain score threshold, the game stagnates and you're essentially just running up the score until you slip up, so some new gamemodes or a proper endless mode would be nice to see. The balance is generally nice, but the handicap in the Quantum realm where your atoms get marked for deletion is super frustrating. Often you'll have built up a large multiplier on your strongest atom only for it to get randomly marked, and if you've just used your power-ups, you can only sit and watch as your hard work gets removed and you have to start from scratch again.
Even so, this game does feel like a natural evolution of the original, and is for sure worth the $4. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next in the updates!

Great improvement of the original, but lacks some QoL features
This is a great game, and I love that you fixed the unintuitive aim when only two atoms are on the field. An animation speed setting would be nice to have.
Fun change of pace
I had the original Atomas on my phone for over 10 years, and it’s one of the few games I played consistently. This new game does very well in keeping with the same timeless gameplay, while adding enough new mechanics to keep things interesting. The price isn’t greedy, and there’s no ads. This pretty much hits every mark in my book for a great phone game. 5 stars.

Great improvement on classic game
Definitely worth the purchase. At some times the animations are a bit over the top and it’s harder to tell what is going on relative to the simple clean look of the original. Perhaps a reduced effects toggle could be nice? But overall the gameplay improvements and balance changes make this the superior experience.

An awesome update!
This is a really neat new take on your original game! I love the way the tools interact and I had no problem immediately supporting by buying the new version. I do hope in the future you introduce a classic mode where the graphics are closer to the original (I don’t know why but the blur kinda makes me motion sick)

Love
I was playing this game in my car with my phone in plugged in and I played it so long that my battery died and I had to call triple a. Waiting for them now. 11/10
Feels so much slower
The original felt very fast with placing atoms. The border around the circle is also a bit limiting because you can only press within a small circle rather than the full field. I also find the crt/3d effect to be overall distracting in comparison to the cleaner feeling original. The bones are there, but for a paid version I would not say this is worth it.

Atomas 2: Electron Boogaloo
I’ve been playing the original Atomas for the past decade, and I never thought I’d see a sequel! This one has the core gameplay that made Atomas great, plus a bunch of additional operators that have forced me to make more strategic decisions. Looking forward to playing it in 2036!
10/10
I've been playing the original game on and off since 2015. Two months ago, I felt something in my soul bone telling me I needed to get into it again. I felt Sirnic cooking apparently - this game SLAPS. I have had recurring dreams the last few nights involving me wearing a shirt with the original icon, adorned with the phrase "I'm on ATOMAS". I got these atoms at me in the ethereal realms and stuff. I just finished my first round and I think total time combined it lasted a good hour. Sirnic you are a genius. The new operators put a dynamic spin on the gameplay loop, and the realms mechanic adds an extra layer of complexity will not be going unappreciated. OG Atomas holds a special place in my heart as my go-to doctors office game, my lunch break gaming fix, and my "clean for another 20 minutes then play for a bit" incentive to do work. However, I have a feeling that Atomas Neo is going to give OG a run for its money. Thank you Sirnic for making this game (along with your others) and being a silent and steady part of my daily routine for the last decade.

Like the additions to the old game! Miss a couple aspects of it, though, too
Love some of the mechanics of the new game! I do wish it had the snapiness of the old version, and maybe a “retro” mode that maybe harkens back to the old mechanics (unless that’s already a thing that I haven’t found yet)
Worse than the original
The original has been a staple I go back to for relaxation - I will continue to play the original for years, I would imagine.
Atomas Neo has worse graphics (honestly gave me a headache), too many convoluted power ups, and the animations are that of a 2010 game. The “sleeping” elements are so frustrating and disruptive that it’s hard to ever enter a flow.
The excitement I felt for a new Atomas game was matched only by the disappoint of playing.

Excited for more game modes!
I’ve been playing Atomas since I was in the fifth grade (I’m now entering my senior year of college!). This game sparked my love for chemistry, and unlike other mobile games, I never grew out of this one. I was super stoked when I opened the app to see a new version just got released! It’s very different from the original but the same in all the ways that matter. I’m hoping for and looking forward to more game modes, similar to the ones we had in the original, like Zen and Geneva. Thanks for creating such a great game!
