The app doesn’t work
I haven tried multiple time to pull the video from the app. I just resorted to pulling it manually from the SD card.
Solved unable to connect problem
Like many reviews report, I was unable to connect with the Dash camera after connecting with the Dash WiFi network. After much trying, I turned on the “Local Network” switch in the app settings on my iPhone and that allowed the connection. I did not find this direction in the setup instructions.
Fails to Connect
Returning to Costco. “Failed to Connect” is the message in the app. I’ve tried every trouble shooting method I could find without the app connecting properly. Purchased two units optimistic they’d meet Costco standards.
Dash Camera
Camera works like a charm but the app on the other hand is lacking couldn’t get it connected to where I could see my photos and videos!🤷🏽♀️
Ripped off again
I bought the Atomi dash cam from Costco, in the time I’ve owned it- it has only connected once to WiFi, it has never taken a video, not once. Yes I’ve rebooted it many times with no luck I’ve tried everything I can think of- well I haven’t tried standing on one foot while waving it overhead. Really guys make a good product or get outta the market.

They don't dogfood their own product
Recording GPS tracks are off by tens of miles. App UI/UX is terrible - very hard to navigate, use, and etc. Simply it's just bad software! Hardware is ok, but not great.
Does not work
Trying to connect to my iPhone was not successful. It makes the camera not respond forcing pressing the reset button. Camera works well on its own, the software not worth spending time getting it to work.
Maybe the next version can become an Apple Carplay/Android Auto app. That would be a nice feature especially if camera integration is seamless.

Will not connect
Can not connect at all. Reset
Multiple times. Using correct default password. Just will not connect via WiFi hot spot on camera even though connected via hot spot according to my WiFi settings. Completely useless if I can’t retrieve video and connect on the Atomi dash app.

Dude this thing doesn’t connect or do anything, this is horrible. It does not operate properly at all.
App is garbage
App connects to dash cam maybe one out of every fifteen times. Avoid Atomi products.
Wi-Fi connection
Doesn’t connect to the Wi-Fi at al for me. Had it for a week already. Hotspot is on like the instruction says. Hopefully I return it in one peace.
Worst item at Costco
Menu never opens camera crashes the whole thing is garbage top to bottom.
No map loads
Just installed the camera and did a test. The whole Map section below downloaded video is just a blank space with a little “you are here” marker. Is this what Costco stocks now? Half baked products?

Connected to my iPhone
Had to turn the WiFi option of the dash cam on then enter the password for it on my iPhone to connect. The Atomi Dash app then worked displaying what the dash cam was seeing on my iPhone.
Not bad..
The app itself is ok,haven’t used it a lot but so far it’s been ok. The issue I have is not with the app as much as the way the system is designed. If you want to download video,you have to go in and turn on the WiFi on the camera itself,then download the videos that DONT end up in your camera roll unless I somehow missed it. And who wants to constantly go out to their car just to download videos? Granted if there was no incident,you wouldn’t really have a need to have constant access to the files,but it would be nice to NOT have to go out to the car and turn on the WiFi just to get the videos.

Not ideal
When I t try to save my settings , new wifi username and password. It doesn’t save. It resets every time I turn it on. I have to connect to the app manually instead of it just connecting automatically like Nexar does. $125 without tax. So far I’m not liking it.
Safety First
Atomi does it again - and like some of their other products, they used innovation and technology to help keep people safe. This company is the real deal - their customer service is incredible, too. 💛
