Getting worse

Since they can’t figure out how to get their battery management system to work correctly when there’s multiple expansion batteries rather than fix that core significant problem they just removed it entirely from the app so there’s no way to actually know how much total power you have. You see the percentage only for the main unit. No data whatsoever anymore for the expansion batteries. If they’re gonna hide the battery management problem, I mean, bare minimum at least like get an average of all the batteries and display that so owners have some idea what’s actually available and can adjust their use accordingly. It also loses all of your data if you have to rebind, even if you connected to the exact same unit with the same serial number. So all your previous state of your solar generation and how many effective trees you’ve saved gets totally reset to zero. Tracking that was probably the only cool thing. Everything else is well below not just the app but the system.

Mostly happy with this app

I have to say overall that I am thrilled with the Jackery Home 5000.
The APP is a couple generations behind the excellent technology of the physical units being sold.

There needs to be the ability to set your own charge and discharge notification thresholds.

It would also be nice to see a differentiation between the solar input and the grid/generator input… because when they are blended, you can’t really tell how much solar you while you are charging the system from grid or generator?

It would also be nice to be able to have a setting to prioritize solar over grid input!!!

Lastly,
If you have multiple Jackery products… there is no way to sort them in the app… the last one added is at the top of the list, no matter which is your most important device 🤬
Jachary! Please fix this!!!

(it is annoying to school past my mobile Jackery to get to the primary Jackery I use at home as my EVERY DAY System.

Unreliable products

Bought a homepower 3000 and an explorer 3000. Both unreliable and unpredictable. They can discharge very slowly from 100 to 98% in three weeks, and then suddenly drop to 50% overnight without load. Error codes are frequent like F6 that requires unplugging loads to reset. Then every three days they stop charging via solar. Need to unplug and restart. Cannot restart via app. I regret buying these products

Personally having no issues

From my own experience so far over the last month, it’s working just fine. The app does what it’s supposed to do. I’m using Bluetooth and luckily Im always nearby the battery when using it so it’s been great. Hope it continues this way.
