Setlist scroll bug
Response from developer
Hi, we haven’t seen this bug before, but will find it and resolve asap! If you have very big zoomed/enlarged text enabled on your phone then this could be the issue. Setlists display great on all our test devices. If you email us at info@rt60.co.uk it would be very useful to know what device and iOS version you are using, and we can then let you know when the issue is resolved. Thanks for feeding back and helping us make this improvement, glad you are liking the app otherwise!

Hi Steveareno - we will fix that bug for sure! Could you email us details or a screenshot with what iPhone model are you using please (info@rt60.co.uk). We don’t have that problem on our test devices, so it will be an easy fix… thanks for posting your review!

Accurate and simple interface

Thanks so much for posting your review. Great to hear! 🙏
Easy to use
All the settings you need: bpm, beat sound, in-between beat sound, emphasis on first beat. Possible to modify the sounds.
Different settings can be saved for later quick retrieval.
And intuitive to use.
From all the ones I tried out it’s my preferred.

Off-beat clicks

Best I’ve found - only one drawback
Not user friendly for set list performance
Not a good application for this. After programming a 33 song set list, I found that when selecting a song I had to go to the metronome setting to have the metronome engaged but when going back to the set list it locks up not allowing me to select the next song to continue playing! Being the drummer in the band, I count off each song and need a set list that displays the metronome for each song and immediately allow for advancing to the next song. Unless I misunderstood the app, this is a big fail for me.
Response from developer
Hi there, the setlist feature should work 100% fine, select your set, then select the song you are playing, and then press the play button (which is a standard triangle shape pointing right). You’ll hear the preprogrammed click and see the metronome icon ticking away in time. At the end of the song, press stop (square button), select the next song and repeat - it works every time, so there’s no need to leave the setlists page at all during your show. The Atomic logo also doubles up as a play/stop button too. We’re committed to always improving the app so will continue to develop and see if any future improvements can be made, but the function you are asking for is already there within the app. If you email us asking for help we can easily send you some screenshots to help you find the right buttons to press.
Setting for background play?
Response from developer
Hi there. Atomic is programmed to always override the iPhone’s auto-lock, so if you are using the app it will not get interrupted by the automatic Lock Screen (if you have it set). So you can practice knowing it won’t cut out at any time while you are using it.
Practical tool!
Best metronome
Doesn’t work at all
Perfect build. Finally.
This is it. Aside from the color selection, which I find to be helpful for my eyes in low light studio atmosphere, it’s entirely streamlined without any unnecessary bells and whistles.
The menus for selection of time and division, as well as controlling for tone and sustain of sub counts in polyrhythm is thorough. It will be incredibly beneficial for exploring new playing to experiment with these settings when writing.
I would love to see this concept expanded into a common DAW compatible plug in. The mobile is everything it needs to be and then some, and this functionality inside Reaper or Pro Tools would be invaluable.
