App not showing bought ticket
Twice I've tried using the app to buy a day pass and both times it charges me but doesn't show the ticket anywhere in the app!
Too many clicks
The whole payment process here is remarkably inefficient. Things that should take one tap took 3 to 5. The experience of purchasing a ticket takes two minutes.
Poor usability
If this were a private company it would have gone out of business. Takes multiple taps, swipes, etc. to buy tickets, then activate them. Too cumbersome, too many steps. Cannot add tickets to Apple wallet or use Apple Watch. Still requires a vigilant yet reasonable city employee to manage pool access.

Can’t buy day pass for Barton Springs
Was forced to download the app to buy a day-pass and you can’t even buy it through the app. Only season passes are available
App is good but not perfect
I’m happy to have this app and the ability to order swim passes online. They took eight days for me to get the purchase complete.. when I went to the shopping cart that kept giving me an error. I phoned the Aquatics Office and reported the problem. First, I was told to make sure that my credit card was on file. It was. I was told the person who could address it was not there, and I was told he’d be in the next day. I requested a follow up and got nothing of that nature. I called again two days later. A lovely woman named Joy assisted me. We entered a different credit card (though the first one is valid). Then, the app finally worked.
It seems that the app is Primitive and doesn’t give good error messages. And the follow up from PARD is typical.

2 yrs of issues with this app
I’ve had problems with this app for 2 years. I bought several passes and they don’t show up on the app. Getting refunded by the city has never happened.

Only Barton Springs Pool Passes
I haven’t tested buying the Barton Springs Pool pass, but no other pools listed for purchasing passes for entry. Do not recommend if you want to buy passes for any of the other Austin pools.
Only works for one pool
As far as I can tell, this is not “ATXSwims” but “buy tickets for Barton Springs.” I actually live in Austin, which means I want to swim at regional/municipal pools other than the (lovely but overcrowded) tourist trap downtown. This app is for visitors who don’t have cash, not for local folks who want to swim laps at Walnut Creek or Garrison pool. Once again, the CoA has overlooked taxpayers and families to try to look hip to tourists. As a native Austinite, I am disappointed but not surprised.

Won’t let me add payment method
Won’t let me add my card only allows you to add card holders name not card number
Avoid
App doesn’t let you access a password manager or Apple Pay. It doesn’t save a credit card you add so you can’t pay. Don’t waste your time, just queue for the machine.
Unable to fill out information
Fix the app please. I’m unable to enter my CC information because the text box doesn’t allow you to finish and return. Several of my friends have had the same issue.
User experience sub par, but gets the job done

Can’t even buy a pass in app
The entire purpose of this app is to buy swim passes but that isn’t even possible. Pressing buy pass just takes you to the map view where no marked pools are even interact-able. Horrible experience. Fix this garbage

Downloaded this app because the line was super long, most of the kiosk we’re down and very slow.
