About

Audeno turns century-old books into audio courses on finding calm, making time and thinking clearly. Pick the book closest to what is on your mind and play its first lesson. Each course draws on the complete book and opens the author’s ideas one at a time, through situations you know, like a sharp email or the conversation you keep putting off. The book itself is in the app too, complete and free to read. START WITH WHAT’S ON YOUR MIND When one thought takes the whole day: Why Worry? by George Lincoln Walton. When work, dinner and bed fill the whole day: How to Live on 24 Hours a Day by Arnold Bennett. When ideas come anywhere but your desk: The Art of Thought by Graham Wallas. When the same argument takes the same turn: The Human Machine by Arnold Bennett. When work is over but you’re still working inside: Power Through Repose by Annie Payson Call. When your head is full and nothing gets clearer: Thinking for Results by Christian D. Larson. When the day is full and you’re hardly in it: The Simple Life by Charles Wagner. When you agreed and nothing changed: Creative Experience by Mary Parker Follett. When money decides before you do: Prosperity: How to Attract It by Orison Swett Marden. UNDERSTAND THE BOOK, ONE IDEA AT A TIME Not a summary. Each course stands on its own, introduces its book and author, and explains the author’s ideas through everyday situations. Most courses also have readings in the author’s own words, recaps and closing conversations. The ideas keep their author’s conviction; what you take from them is yours to decide. A LESSON FOR YOUR WALK Most main lessons take five to seven minutes: a walk, a commute, a break between tasks. No homework. Lock the screen or leave the app and the lesson keeps playing, with the controls on your Lock Screen. A lesson downloads the first time you play it and then stays on your iPhone, and a course you own can be downloaded in full to listen offline. The text of each episode is a tap away. After the lesson comes a short melody of its own for each book, and you can turn it off. READ THE WHOLE BOOK, FREE Every book is complete, in English and Ukrainian. The English editions are the originals, except The Simple Life, newly translated from the French. Every Ukrainian edition is a complete translation made for Audeno. Search, bookmarks, paper or night pages and adjustable text size. KEEP THE LINES THAT STAY WITH YOU Every book comes with selected passages. Highlight your own lines, keep them with your quotes, and go back to their place in the book whenever you want. START FREE, NO SUBSCRIPTION Every book, its quotes, and the introduction and first three lessons of its course are free. One purchase unlocks that book’s full course in every available language. Nothing renews. Restore your purchases on another iPhone with the same Apple Account. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking. Progress, quotes and bookmarks stay on your iPhone and sync through your own iCloud only if you turn it on. Purchases are handled by Apple. LANGUAGES Books and courses in English and Ukrainian. The interface is also in German, French, Spanish, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Dutch and Swedish.
