I love Audible, BUT…
I’ve had an Audible membership for 20 years, I’m a big fan, but they HAVE to add a search filter that can ELIMINATE VIRTUAL VOICE/AI NARRATION.

Amazing Read!
I know it is preferable to have books in print to truly preserve the story and its integrity. But hearing this book in Dr Burke-Harris’ voices with her unique ways of speaking made this enthralling. The subject matter is even more gripping. As someone who worked in healthcare during the evolution of the spread of the concept of ACE’s, it was particularly interesting to hear that backstory from her perspective. And as someone with my own ACE’s, having recognized the importance of my own healing to my child, this book beautifully articulates the why behind the obvious reasons. I teared up, I smiled wide I felt inspired in these chapters. Excellent read for the culture.

Books that i bought with credits are now locked after cancelling membership
That’s new and I don’t remember reading that addendum to my purchase agreement. This is really shady practices. All my other books are available to listen to. It’s not like the amazon company is hard up for money. Could you just be fair? Is that so much to ask for? Seriously!
No support
Noticed that Audible is pushing a “repeat listen” in the library view that contains a number of books I would never listen to again. The problem is you can’t remove a recommendation or hide it. So I tried to contact support and it is just an FAQ and a chat bot that only provides a different front end to the FAQ. tried app support from the app store listing and it is dead with a redirect to the FAQ. I get it, they aren’t interested in support. Not sure how that squares with App Store requirements but it’s Amazon so I guess it’s a moot point. In the end the only feedback option is a review so there you have it.

Listening Time and Stats not working
Your listening time is not accurate and this app has so many bugs it’s wild. This app is always glitching with the challenges. When will they fix this? My listening time keeps dropping and then jumping up like it’s glitching.

This is a perfect book to improve your relationships and understanding empathy and validation. Which is an important skill and can be learnt , which is something I have struggled with my whole life.
